Scratch that I know what my mistake was. I formatted the disk as encrypted and it was giving me a hard time. I reformatted the disk un-encrypted and I got it to boot. Thanks for the help though.

So I typed that in now I am receiving a message saying "No space left on device". It is a 250gb SSD with only 15GB used.

Thank you. I am currently still a grasshopper when it comes to Mac OSX. Could you please provide the commands I would use?

Hi, so I followed the guide for the Mavericks install on my e6410. I installed mavericks on my partitioned drive and once it finished and booted up I selected the drive I installed it on and I get "Can't find /mach_kernel". I'm not sure where it is located but I've tried /extra/mach_kernel with no luck.
