  2. Hello! I am running e7240 with Mojave using files from bootpack (and maybe some tuining here and there) . I have huge battery drain compared to windows though. I did a couple of things to get around this, gotten better runtime but still maybe half than what i get in windows: - disabled card reader in bios - undervolted cpu gpu cache with voltageshift - disabled turbo boost i noticed with intel power gadget that the igpu is always at 0.55ghz and only going up, but never going down even when idle. Isn't it supposed to be at 0 when under no load? I see a couple of ACPI errors when loading the system. I tried to debug with "sudo kextload AppleIntelInfo.kext" but got " /Users/vanilla/AppleIntelInfo.kext failed to load - (libkern/kext) not found; check the system/kernel logs for errors or try kextutil(8)." 3. Hi @Jake Lo On reboot, the Bluetooth device needs to be removed and reconnected to get it to work again. Is there something that can be fixed here?
  4. Hi All, I am new here and after struggling for over 16 hours, I finally managed to install MAC OS 10.14.6 on my Dell E5540. A big THANK You to all the members in the forum who helped me get this far. Bluetooth, WiFi, Sound, and Display working!! I am stuck with the last piece, my HDMI port is not working. Connecting HDMI cable makes the laptop display go black and my monitor doesn't detect any signal. From this point, there is no way to recover the display and I need to do a force reboot. I would like to use a monitor in my setup as the laptop display is not that great. Can someone please help me in layman terms? Sorry for my lack of knowledge on this matter. Appreciate help on this.
  5. Hi, Finally I finished the installation of 10.14.6 on my Dell E5440. Everything works just fine, but HDMI will not work. Every time I plug it in, it causes a grey screen on my laptop monitor. Also on boot up. I attached my EFI Folder, maybe someone can help me. I searched a bit and read something about Azul Framebuffer Kext. Thank you for helping. Greedings, Hugo EFI EFI.zip
  6. Hi, I got E7440 with HD4400 plus 1080p screen. Currently installed Mojave on SSD. I am having problem with iGPU. I followed guide to create USB installer with EFI bootpack for high sierra and Mojave but they will not show up installer/desktop after DSMOD has arrived. I tried igfxvesa command. I got installer GUI but graphics acceleration is disabled. So I installed Mojave on it then booted desktop without graphics acceleration. There is other guy who have EFI bootpack for Mojave version and same E7440 model and hd 4400. It came with FakeID 0x04128086 and ig-platform-id 0x0a260006. No luck with graphics acceleration. For spec on bios. here are them!
  7. Hello Currently I have 10.11.5 installed, El Capitan, Clover. I've had this problem since Yosemite (no experience with previous OS X versions), I just wanted to see if anyone else is having the same issue: Whenever I try to play an iTunes movie it freezes my laptop. I can download the full movie... but it won't play it as it freezes my E7440. Can't move mouse, keyboard doesn't respond, etc. I have to hard reboot my E7440... iTunes is just fine when playing music, syncing my iPhone, iPad, buying stuff. Regards
  8. I installed Marvericks by myHack 3.3.1 with patched kernel for Haswell to Lenovo Thinkpad T440s laptop. Thinkpad T440s laptop has HD4400 and GT 730M GPU. On first boot after install (with option 'IntelAzulFB=12"), HD4400 Graphics works fine with QE/CI. But, After restart, It stuck on boot(or looping WindowServer clash). It can boot with '-x' option or 'GraphicEnabler=No' option. It also can boot after remove HD5000 kexts, But It kills QE/CI. I want to know why first boot was fine but second boot was fail. Any Suggestion?
