  1. Hello, I'm having dell inspiron 15 3558 laptop, I've tried installing using latest clover but when I boot using the bootable pendrive clover doesn't start (shows only black screen). I'm not getting what may be the problem is it due to config.plist or my bios fault. Also I've done all the changes in BIOS which is required. Thank You! Saurav

  3. Hi- Two more issues with the Dell Latitude E6230 Mojave installation - 1)The Wifi adapter ie DW1510 is not working consistently. Wifi Icon appears on the top however I'm unable to turn it on and always stays off. 2) Unplugging USB device is sometimes causing an error - "USB Accessories Disabled" error screenshot attached. Could you kindly help, please?
  4. Hello Hervé, Thanks to your guide for Dell E6230 Mojave - I was able to successfully install Mojave in a very straightforward manner. However, I've got 2 issues as listed below and hoping you could guide me in fixing it, please? 1) I'm just unable to get the stock Bluetooth working and there are no kext files for the same in your bootpack for Mojave. 2) Left USB i.e eSATA port is no longer detecting and devices connected to it. You've mentioned about an Hackintool in the description but again the boot pack doesn't have the USBports.kext? any help from you end would be appreciated. Thanks in advance
  5. Hello everyone and thank you for being there. I have a Dell E6440, BIOS A23, i5 4310M, ONLY Intel HD 4600, 1HDD, 1SSD, and one mSata SSD. I followed the @Jake Lo instructions for creating and installing Hi Sierra 10.13.6. I used the @Jake Lo bootpack for E6440_HD4600_Only_A21.zip. Installation on mSata was easy. Now I have a few questions / problems. 1. Sleep does not work correctly. When using FN + F1 or the Apple menu ~ sleep. The screen turns off, but the fan continues to work and the HDD indicator also blinks constantly. After that, it does not come out of sleep at all, only sometimes I try to press everything on the keyboard, it wakes up like that. It is important that after that the sound also disappears. 2. Also, the settings for the brightness of the display after a reboot are not saved. 3. HDD is constantly blinking disk access indicator. four. 4.Almost constant fan noise is irritating.. I attach the necessary files, I really hope for help. debug_16173.zip Extensions.zip EFI.zip
  6. I would love feedback from those who have installed Yosemite on a Dell Latitude E7440. I used Pokenguyen's guide at the link below to perform an installation on mine: URL: https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/6461-guide-e7440-with-clover/ The system boots fine using Clover. However, I've observed that the mouse cursor is "jumpy" - and the same can be said for launching applications. Even the first screens of the installation process had sluggish animations and mouse cursor movement. Other times, windows that are closed leave behind "ghosts" of what was being displayed. Eventually the display refreshes to clear these old contents off the screen. The system is using a SSD drive, and would run Windows 7 & 8 very well, as far as response behaviors would go in a completely different environment. It is also using HD4400 for video output. I'm just curious if my description of how things are performing are of no surprise to those that also run this model, in that these behaviors are expected despite the model being able to be used as a Hackintosh. Otherwise, if there are those who have encountered these behaviors, and somehow overcame them, I'd love that input. As for things to try, I'm pondering the value of: 1) Trying out Jake Lo's Yosemite guide for this model, as outlined at: https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/7478-dell-latitude-e6xxxe7xxx-yosemite-install-guide/ 2) Evaluating if Yosemite is too heavy for this model, and seeing how Mavericks performs by comparison, using steps from Pokenguyen's guide at the top of this post. Folks in this community have so much valuable experience and understandings of how things operate, so I want to thank you in advance for anything you're willing to share with me!
