  1. Hey folks - I was wondering if anybody got a working App Store Yosemite 10.10 build to install using myhack on the E6500 and if so if they can post instructions? or using unifail for that matter? Anyone know what version of myhack supports it (or does any version support 10.10 as of right now)? I just got 10.9.5 to install and I am hoping to just be able to switch to 10.10 ....But that all depends on what the fine folks on this site which i rely on so much so can do !!!
  2. So I installed Mac OS X Yosemite and El Capitan on separate drives, and both have glitchy audio. I installed the newest AppleHDA.kext to see it would fix it, but i still get the same issues. It did work perfectly one time, but after that its been horrible. I also tried VoodooHDA to see if that would fix it, it actually made it worse. Any suggestions?
  3. So I have my hack laptop here,(dell latitude E6400) and its running great! My only problem is that I can't get it to go to sleep. I'm not entirely sure why. My system has the t9550 penryn proc, the Nvidia Quadro NVS 160M, and 4 gigs of DDR 2 ram. I installed an apple branded PCI extreme airport card, but left the broadcom BGM94312 in its stubby slot. I set pstates and cstates, I'm not sure if the Broadcom would prevent the sleep or not, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask if it has been the case with anyone else. I've not tried sleep enabler but that might be my next point of order. Basically if I tell the machine to sleep (either by closing the lid or going to the apple menu), it will go to a black screen and then just sit there, never getting to sleep, and never waking back up. Anyone got any suggestions?
  4. Hello everyone, I just installed OS X Mavericks on my latitude e6400 with myhack. I tried to install a graphics kext for my intel gm45 graphics, and in the guide, it told me to replace my boot.plist. I replaced it with the one provided, but when I rebooted, it said that it was late by xxxxx seconds, and I had to use forcewake=Y to override. I entered in this boot flag, but after a second, my computer just restarted and came back to the charms lion boot screen. I don't have access to a Mac anymore to create an installer to reinstall, so what should I do? Thank you in advance! Latitude e6400 specs: 2.27GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 4GB RAM Intel GM45 Graphics BIOS VERSION A34
  5. Been working on getting my E6400 up and running over the last few days on OSX 10.7.5 and have just about everything working right thanks Mariusz and his great post. Here's the two issues I'm coming up with right now: Volume control does not actually change the speaker output level. The onscreen indicator shows the level change but the actual playback level doesn't change. Mic line input not working. I can get the digital mic to show signal, but cannot get the mic line input to show any signal no matter what I send to it. I'm guessing it's something with the OSX setup or the audio driver because I know the jack itself is good because I was just recording through it last week with Windows 7 on this laptop. Any help would be much appreciated.
