  1. Hello! This is my first post on this forum and admittedly I was lurking about without account. But let's get to business shall we? So. I've been trying to set up my E5430 non-VPro with MacOS... Neither Catalina nor Mojave worked for me with bootpacks provided. Don't get me wrong I am not saying they are bad bootpacks, but issue is that it seems they were prepped with 1600x900 model in mind, and since I don't have free access to MacOS machine, and my other machines aren't best suited for VM (Go figure), I can't alter config.plist file. Combine that with my lack of knowledge of what kexts will be useful for such laptop ends up... With failure. So... Is there any good soul which achieved either Catalina, Mojave or High Sierra on similar enough hardware? I am not going to hide the fact I'd prefer Mojave and up but if there's no other way, I can make do with HS. Thanks in advance by the way, it must be terrible to go through this kind of stuff so often.... Oh! Right config of machine. Hold on! i5 3340M AR5B95 WiFi card (Swapped from Intel one already) Broadcom BCM20702A0 Bluetooth integrated into motherboard. 1366x768 screen Broadcom NetXtreme BCM5761 Gigabit Ethernet HM77 Express Chipset LPC Controller Intel HD4000 graphics. There, that should be all that's necessary.
