I see this Model going for $100... its not *SO cheap if you Upgrade the RAM to 16gb.... I'm getting the full 2gb vram, and macOS doesnt page to disk so thats nice...

Some maintenance:

1) System and user cache for a substantial problem fix and speed issues

/Library/Cache
~/Library/Cache

Delete the contents, not the folders.

2) macOS won't boot
open DiskUtility and repair permissions... some people cant use pfix(maps)
If it's completely broken:

sudo chown root:admin /
sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions

3) Rebuilding kextcache

In Terminal:

sudo chmod -Rf 755 /S*/L*/E*
sudo chmod -Rf 755 /L*/E*
sudo chown -Rf 0:0 /S*/L*/E*
sudo chown -Rf 0:0 /L*/E*
sudo kextcache -i /

Then reboot.

4) Rebuild prelinked kernel

kernelcache -i /Volumes/macOS

5) Fixing broken fonts and icons

For proper 4K output, patching BIOS to set DVMT pre-allocated memory to 64MB or 96MB is mandatory. Boot a USB key with ModGrubShell installed on it as explained here and set variable 0x432 to 0x02 or 0x3:

setup_var 0x432 0x3
exit

Default value is 0x1 for 32MB (0x2 is 64MB, 0x03 is 96MB). Once the change is applied, no need to inject patched Framebuffer memory settings (fbmem/stolenmem) as properties in your bootloader's config.

Bear in mind that this DVMT adjustment can be removed by resetting BIOS to default settings.

Steps to change the DVMT value (Done on Windows or WinPE)

1) Universal BIOS Backup ToolKit 2.0.exe - to backup the BIOS (DellInc.-1.5.3.rom) 

    At time of writing - BIOS version 1.5.3

2) UEFITool.exe to find the module labeled Setup and extract the PE32 image section (setup.bin)

  Update:

  For Dell Only: Search with this GUID then extracting the PE32 body under it would be faster /easier than finding the module per guide

3) Universal IFR Extractor.exe to extract setup.bin to a readable text file

4) Use notepad to search for DVMT in the text file,  2 were found at 0x432 and 0x433

    Both with value of 0x1 but only 0x432 needs to be set to 0x3

5) Format a USB drive to fat32 and create a folder name EFI (SD Card works too)

6) Download the EFI Shell and extract the Boot folder into the newly created EFI folder

     i.e.. /EFI/Boot/bootx64.efi

7) Boot system with the USB and select UEFI Boot

At the grub prompt, enter these commands, hit enter after each command, then exit and reboot

    setup_var 0x432 0x3

To verify, just enter setup_var 0x432 and hit enter, the value will be listed

Note: Settings will retain after BIOS update but will reset if you select "Restore Settings" in BIOS!!!

6. Place the check marks there.
7. Now use F11 & F12 for Brightness, use F1, F2, & F3 for Volumes Control

(Keyboards with same/similar layout will work with custom xml above too)

Note1: Personally use SmartScroll for Trackstick scrolling with Inertia. Don't really use Touchpad, 2 fingers scrolling and tap and drag does work.

6. Place the check marks there.
7. Now Hit F11 & F12 for Brightness, hit F1, F2, & F3 for Volumes Control

2. Download and Extract bootpack Extra.zip
3. Relaunch myHack, select Install Extra, select USB Installer as target drive. Select "Use my Own" and browse to Extra above
4. Boot with USB Installer ( Make sure to plug monitor to displayport, use bottom DP if you only have 1 monitor) 
5. Format disk to GUID and Extended Journal and start the build 
6. When prompt, select "Use My Own" and point to Extra on USB Installer
7. Select Yes 3 times to delete issue kexts
8. Wait a few minutes, system will automatically reboot
9. Complete the install

These guides are for Vostro200 desktop computers fitted with a Wolfdale Core2Duo CPU (or Wolfdale-DP dual core Xeon CPU) that includes SSE4.1 instructions set. Conroe CPUs do not include these and are therefore unsuitable for macOS, they can only run OS X up to El Capitan.

From Mojave to Big Sur, macOS natively supports nVidia Kepler cards only. As such, High Sierra 10.13 is the end of the road for Pascal cards such as the GT1030, knowing that these (like Maxwell cards) are only supported with the nVidia Web Driver due to lack of native drivers.

From Monterey, macOS drops all native support for nVidia cards, marking the official end for Kepler cards. Support can however be recovered/provided by applying patches with tools such as OCLP. The only alternative is to use supported AMD cards (HD7000/HD8000 series minimum, Polaris minimum being favoured), hence why I opted for a Polaris21/Baffin RX560. AMD Radeon Pro WX4100 (LP card) is suitable too (tested 100% successfully). Both those AMD cards are natively fully supported.

NB: Wolfdale-DP CPUs may require adjusting CPU clock rate parameter to highest multiplier in BIOS for proper CPU SpeedStep to work. Running on a Wolfdale-DP Xeon dual core CPU may also require the use of additional boot arg npci=0x2000 or npci=0x3000 to avoid boot freeze and system hard reset. It certainly did on my Vostro200 (but then again my X5270 was an ES model...).

Installation fully successful with myHack v3.3.1 and attached E6220 bootpack on a 7mm SATA-III SSD partitioned GUID and formatted Mac OS X (journaled).  NB: only thin/7mm HDD/SSD 2.5" drives fit in, regular 9.5mm drives do not. mSATA modules require a dedicated adapter.

        Other E6220 laptops fitted with a different CPU will require a different (and suitable) SSDT table than provided in the above pack (can be looked up on the web or created with SSDT generator tool -> See RampageDev's blog for detailed guide).  In such cases and in order to avoid CPU power management-related kernel panics (KP), NullCPUPowerManagement kext is probably required until the CPU-specific SSDT is generated. The kext just needs to be added to /Extra/Extensions followed by myHack->myFix (quick).

Let's get started...

I use the myhack method for this build, so follow instructions to build your USB installer, set BIOS settings and run the OSX Installation from http://myhack.sojugarden.com/guide/

 For best results, set BIOS to default, apply it and then  go back to set Sata Operation to AHCI

1. After creating your USB installer, run myHack again


2. Select Install Extra and point to the Extra folder attached (extract it first)   Extra_Mav.zip
3. Boot up system with USB installer disk with flag -v -f (hit F12 - for boot options)


4. Select your language and hit continue


5. Click on Utilities and select Disk Utility


6. Format the HDD per instruction from myHack site (GPT and Journaled preferably)


7. Close Utilities and hit Continue to start the Installation


8. Select "Use my Own" when prompt, point it to the Extra folder in the root of the USB installer drive


9. When prompt to remove problematic kexts, select Yes, Yes, No


10. System will automatically reboot when finish. Remove the USB installer drive


11. You'll encounter "Invalid Partition Table" during boot, just hit the Enter key to continue


12. Boot with -v flag to complete the installation


13. After logging on: in System Preferences

•     Enable Clicking for Trackpad

•    Allow apps downloaded from: Anywhere for Security &Privacy

   14. Launch myHack, Install Chameleon to fix the "Invalid Partition Table" error

   15. Install AppleHDA in /Extra/Extensions/SLE to /S/L/E with kextwizard, run myfix once more  

 For Models with i7-4600u and 1920x1080 resolution

• Replace SSDT SSDT.aml.zip
• Change Graphics Mode to 1920x1080x32


•  

1. get Catalina installer and create USB flash drive (UFD) installer per the main Guide. 
2. get Clover 5119 and install it on the UFD - don't worry about adding in drivers now; remove the BOOT and CLOVER folders from the EFI folder
3. get my LatE5470 Bootpack-4.zip, unzip it, and copy the BOOT and CLOVER folders to the EFI folder (where the others were just deleted)
4. get Clover Configurator and copy it to the UFD top level folder
5. also copy the Clover 5119 pkg downloaded above to the UFD top level folder and likewise the unzipped Bootpack folder; eject the UFD
6. on the target computer, use Data Wipe to clear out the storage; then reset the BIOS to "BIOS Defaults"; then change the following: General -> Advanced Boot, change Boot List Option to UEFI; General -> Advanced Boot, ensure Enable Legacy is unchecked; System Configuration -> SATA Operation to AHCI, Yes; Security -> TPM to Disabled (you can leave TPM On checkbox checked); Secure Boot -> Secure Boot Enabled, confirm is set to Disabled; POST Behavior -> Extend BIOS Post Time to 5 seconds; Apply button, check box to save as Custom User Settings, OK
7. power on target computer with UFD inserted and hit F12 to select the UFD to boot Clover; select "Boot macOS Install from Install MacOS Catalina" (likely the only choice) and hit enter
8. select Disk Utility to create and format an APFS drive partition named "MacOS"; quit Disk Utility
9. select Install macOS and follow prompts - it will take about 10 minutes until it reboots
10. on reboot, hit F12 to choose the UFD again and in Clover select “Boot MacOS Install from MacOS” and hit enter
11. it will do some more installation for a few minutes and then reboot again
12. on reboot, hit F12 to choose the UFD again and in Clover select “Boot MacOS Install from MacOS” again and hit enter
13. this time it will show an Apple logo and take about 12 minutes to complete and then reboot again
14. on reboot, hit F12 to choose the UFD again and in Clover select “Boot macOS from MacOS”
15. follow prompts to install
16. copy the Clover Configurator from the UFD to the target computer Utilities folder
17. run the Clover pkg from the UFD and install it on the MacOS drive this time (again, don't worry about drivers); remove the BOOT and CLOVER folders from the EFI folder on the target computer
18. copy the BOOT and CLOVER folders from the UFD to the target computer EFI folder
19. if your computer has a 2nd graphics card that MacOS doesn't recognize, copy the file named “SSDT-Disable-DGPU.aml” from in the UFD folder “for computers with second GPU” to the MacOS drive in EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched where the other aml files are
20. if your computer has a Thunderbolt port, copy the file named "SSDT-TBOLT3-KGP.aml" from in the UFD folder "for computers with Thunderbolt port" to the MacOS drive in EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched where the other aml files are
21. eject the UFD and remove it - we're done with it (though you can save it for future repair/installs)
22. double-click on the config.plist in the CLOVER folder to open Clover Configurator
23. in the Boot arguments, remove the "-v", "keepsyms", and "debug"; set the timeout as desired like 1 or 2 seconds
24. in the SMBIOS section, click the Generate New next to Serial Number
25. save the config.plist and quit Clover Configurator
26. In terminal type the following:

    cd Downloads

    chmod 755 ssdtPRGen.sh

27. in System Preferences Keyboard, swap the Command and Option keys

28. Restart the computer and hit F2 to get into BIOS; change the POST Extend Boot time back to zero; change the POST Fastboot to Auto; Apply, Save as Customer User settings, OK; Exit to reboot

29. computer should boot automatically into MacOS and everything should now be working!

Warning: Follow guide at your own risk, I hold no responsibility if you brick your system or destroy all data during the process. If you're creating the installer from a real Mac, make sure you don't accidentally select the real Mac drive when installing Clover loader. It may cause your Mac to not boot again. You've been warned!

BIOS:

Set to Default, apply, then set SATA Operations to AHCI, set Boot List Option to UEFI

Disable Secure Boot, Disable Wake on LAN/WWAN/WLAN, Disable TPM (optional)

Enable Legacy Options ROMs for Broadwell system and below

Requirements:

1. A downloaded OS X El Capitan / Sierra Application from the Mac App Store

2. USB flash drive (16GB minimum)

3. Clover Configurator  (Included in Hack_Tools attached below - might not be the latest)

4. Clover Loader

5. ShowHiddenFiles.app (Included in Hack_Tools attached below)

6. A system running OS X to create the USB Installer

7. A supported Wireless card, Intel wireless are NOT supported

Overview

1. Prepare a Bootable USB Drive (8GB minimum)

2. Install OS X El Capitan / Sierra

3. Post Installation

1: Prepare Bootable USB Drive

This step extracts the OS X Installer contents, then installs Clover bootloader to the USB stick.

1. Insert the USB drive on a running OS X system

2. Open /Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility

3. Highlight the USB drive in left column

4. Click on the Partition tab

5. Click Current and choose 1 Partition

6. Click Options...

7. Choose GUID Partition Table

8. Under Name: type USB (You can rename it later)

9. Under Format: choose Mac OS Extended (Journaled)

10. Click Apply then Partition

11. Go to Applications, right click on Install OS X El Capitan / Sierra =>Show Package Contents=>Contents=> SharedSupport

12. Mount InstallESD.dmg

13. Launch ShowHiddenFiles and select Show Special Files ( app attached at the end of guide)

14. Mount BaseSystem.dmg (hidden) from OS X Install ESD

15. Use Disk Utility to restore OS X Base System to USB (see image below)

16. After restore is complete, USB is now renamed to OS X Base System. Go ahead and rename it to Install OS X El Capitan

17. Go to Install OS X El Capitan/ Sierra=>System=>Installation and delete the alias Packages

18. Copy Packages from root of OS X Install ESD to Install OS X El Capitan/Sierra=>System=>Installation

19. Copy BaseSystem.dmg and BaseSystem.chunklist (hidden files) from OS X Install ESD to root of Install OS X El Capitan/Sierra

20. Launch ShowHiddenFiles and select Hide Special Files

21. Download Clover

22. Launch Clover package installer

23. Hit Continue, Continue, Change Install Location...

25. Choose Install OS X El Capitan/Sierra

26. Hit Continue, then hit Customize. Select these items:   

• Install for UEFI booting only
• Install Clover in the ESP
• UEFI Drivers\Recommended Drivers
  • ApfsDriverLoader
  • AptioMemoryFix
  • AudioDxe
  • DataHubDxe
  • FSInject
  • HFSPlus
  • SMCHelper (leave off if you have VirtualSMC.kext in bootpack)

27. Click Install

28. After installation of Clover, the hidden EFI Partition will appear on the Desktop

29. Download the Generic EFI + Bootpack for your model in post #2, replace the contents to the root of the EFI partition, replacing the existing folders ( Boot and Clover folders - not merge)

Note: Make sure to check the Update section in Post #4 for updated file if any

30. You are now ready to install OS X El Capitan/Sierra

 Note: Make a directory in the USB Installer and copy Hack_Tools, Clover package and EFI folder to it for easy access in Step 3

2: Install OS X El Capitan/Sierra

1. Turn on the computer with the USB Installer connected

2. Press F2 to configure the BIOS

• Sata Operaton -> AHCI
• Secure Boot -> Disabled
• Boot List Option -> UEFI. 
• Enable Legacy Option ROMs (Disabled for Skylake and above)
• Apply and Exit

3. Hit F12 during boot, choose  under UEFI Boot:

4. When Clover boot screen appears, choose Install OS X El Capitan/Sierra

5. The system will then boot into the OS X Installer

6. Choose your language and hit -> to continue

7. For a new installation of OS X, you MUST erase and format the destination drive according to the following steps before continuing. 

*If you are upgrading from Lion, Mountain Lion, Mavericks, or Yosemite and you want to keep your files and apps, skip steps a-i.

   a. From the menu bar, click Utilities -> Choose Disk Utility

   b. Highlight your target hard drive for the El Capitan installation in left column.

   c. Click Erase tab

   d. Under Scheme: GUID Partition Map

   e. Under Name: type Macintosh SSD (You can rename it later)

   f. Under Format: choose Mac OS Extended (Journaled)

   g. Click Erase

   h. Click on Partition Tab to add more partition if you prefer

   i. Close Disk Utility

8. Click Continue, Continue, Agree

9. Select Macintosh SSD, or name of your existing drive, where you want to install El Capitan and click Continue

10. Upon completion, system will restart

11. Press the F12 to choose boot device

12. Choose  under UEFI Boot:

13. When Clover boot screen appears, choose Macintosh SSD or name of your existing drive

The system will boot into the new drive, and complete the installation:

14. Launch the terminal and enter the following command

     diskutil list

     Note: If you see the following, then follow steps in Post #3 Under Core Storage before proceeding

     /dev/disk1 (internal, virtual):

Install Clover loader to Macintosh SSD

1. Launch Clover package installer

2. Hit Continue, Continue, Change Install Location...

3. Choose Macintosh SSD

4. Hit Continue, then hit Customize. Select these items:

• Install for UEFI booting only
• Install Clover in the ESP
• UEFI Drivers\Recommended Drivers
  • ApfsDriverLoader
  • AptioMemoryFix
  • AudioDxe
  • DataHubDxe
  • FSInject
  • HFSPlus
  • SMCHelper (leave off if you have VirtualSMC.kext in bootpack)
• Additional drivers
  • PartitionDxe
• Themes (Optional)
• Install Clover Preference Pane (Optional)

5.  Launch ESP Mounter Pro, select the disk you have OS X installed on (ie. disk0s1) - app in Hack_Tools

6. Copy the EFI folder from the USB installer to EFI partition of Macintosh SSD (replace not merge)

7. Copy kexts from /EFI/Clover/Kexts/Other/CopytoLE to /Library/Extensions of Macintosh SSD

    Note: Ignore warning/error messages and click OK, then run commands below.

8. Repair permission and rebuild cache. Run command from terminal (or run permission.sh found in Hack_Tools)

9. Go to System Preferences

• Enable Clicking for Trackpad
• Allow apps downloaded from: Anywhere for Security & Privacy (optional)

          Note: For Sierra and up, run this in terminal instead: sudo spctl --master-disable

10. Generate own SMBios and SSDT.aml (For Haswell and up, you can enable PluginType in Config instead)

• Launch /EFI/Clover/Config.plist with Clover Configurator (Included in Hack_Tools attached below)
• On the left, click on SMBIOS
• Click on the Up/Down arrow on the right
• Select the model most suited for your system or use same model included in bootpack, generate a new serial
• Close Clover Config and save the file.
• Execute ssdtPRGen.sh from terminal (Included in Hack_Tools attached below)
• Place generated SSDT.aml in /EFI/Clover/ACPI/Patched

        Please use beta version of ssdPRGen.sh to generate SSDT.aml for newer system

11. Make sure to disable hibernation as it's a prerequisite to get sleep & wake to work properly on a Hackintosh:

• sudo pmset hibernatemode 0
• sudo rm -f /var/vm/sleepimage
• sudo pmset hibernatefile /dev/null

12. Congratulations! You are done!

Issues

- If USB device is connected to Full size USB port with power connected state, it wakes up immediately after sleeping  
  Fixed after Full size USB port as internal port  
  As a result, if you connect a device above USB 3.0 to the Full size USB port, it will be recognized as an internal disk icon

- When the battery is in use, the disk not ejected properly after sleeping  
  Fixed with SafeSleepUSB.app or Jettison.app

- WWAN communication via WWAN card, USIM, and Legacy_Sierra_QMI.kext is feasible, but has not been tried yet

- DW1820A (BCM94350ZAE) - 1028:0021 (part# CN-0VW3T3)  
  Issue 1 : WiFi Down sometimes

- DW1830 (BCM943602BAED) - VendorID : 0489, DeviceID : E0A1, Firmware Version:v5 c4510 (v5 c4096)  
  Issue 1 : Bluetooth not works after sleep  
  Issue 2 : If check 'Wake for Wi-Fi network access', wifi speed will be very slow after sleep.

 - MicroSD slot not working properly  
  If you use modified Sinetek-rtsx.kext, you can use HFS + formatted SD card, but there are still some problems

- PCIe front and rear camera (AVStream2500, OV series camera) not recognized

- Compared to Windows, white noise occurs a little on speakers

- In case of new installation, Magic Trackpad 2 touch screen via VoodooI2C, VoodooI2CHID is not immediately recognized and suddenly recognized after specific setup / injection event after personal setting  
  Once recognized, the touch screen will not be lost  
  After recognized the touch screen, the touch pad of the Magnetic Travel Keyboard is disabled, which can be activated using Karabiner

- 3:2 resolution HiDPI not works through known method
