OmarL
So i have succesfully installed ML on my Asus K56CA and have it up and running! But post installation seems to be a minefield as the method that i was following ( https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/2676-asus-k46ca-k46cm-k56ca-k56cm-tutorial-mountain-lion-1082/ ) does not list the links for DSDT & SSDT and suggests they would be found here. Any help right now would be greatly appreciated as its confusing to mix this method with another. I'm hoping to get the wireless card changed by Wednesday too. i have made it to stage 10 on the method I have linked. Thanks in advance,Omar
OmarL
Also when i turn my laptop back on again I can only boot using -v -x command from chameleon otherwise there is an error. Some may find it interesting that i used the SSD hard drive for the install.
Falanx
I can boot without any boot flag, on Mavericks, Mountain Lion used to work also very smoothly. I had problems with Mavericks on the second install, but managed to get it work in two days even a lot better then for the first time. If you boot with -v, then it will get stuck somewhere. If you can tell me where it stuck, maybe I can help you. Greeting, Alpár.

kjohns74
and only glitch I have found it that when you first boot up it boots to Black screen. Just plug an HDMI cable in than unplug it.. works perfect after that
