meshsmith
Hi there! I've been running a Lion on my system for almost a year now, and have recently decided to upgrade to Mountain Lion (for extended Nvidia 5xx support). Using myHack 3.1.2 and a the Mac App Store version of Mountain Lion, I made the installer USB, used PciRoot=0 to get to the installation screen, formatted my drive with Disk Utility and went through the installation procedure without a hitch! However, booting up into the OS off the hard drive freezes at the Apple logo screen. Using the verbose "-v" flag, the last line reads: com.apple.AppleFSCompressionTypeDataless load succeeded I've tried all sorts of things to get past this error - different boot loaders, removing superfluous hardware, boot flags, etc. but with no luck. Anyone have any idea how to resolve this? Thanks!
