Hmmm i have Dell latitude d420 please see the attached photos for full system specification . i had just tried to install the max osx through USB. this is what i tried. 1. since i have windows 7 professional , after downloading SLD430USB.img from D4x0's page i tried to create usb pen by using software win32diskimager-RELEASE-0.2-r23-win32 from https://launchpad.net/win32-image-writer/+download . every thing worked just fine till here . 2. in the BOIS setup ( i have BOIS Version A06) changed the boot sequence to USB. saved the changes and restarted the system i got these two lines Boot0:Done Boot1:/boot_ continuous bilking and after that nothing . Guest JS Greenwood Posted January 16, 2011 Share Posted January 16, 2011 I had exactly the same problem. The issue is the utility you're using to write the IMG file to the USB disk. Having tried a few, the only one I found to work perfectly was Flashnul. The 1-RC1 release from http://shounen.ru/soft/flashnul/ worked first time.
