Zagx
Hi, Is my first post but I'm very glad because after 3 days of crazy tries I have Capitan on my Optiplex 745. The hardware: The original config has a Pentium D 935, with this processor was impossible to start the installation, I was able to install Leopard but is not enough for me, I bought an Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 and I have replaced the Pentium D. My desktop is the "Small form" design, with sata slim dvd recorder and 80GB sata hard drive. Was very difficult to config the Clover bootloader for Sata detection at installation. I made a lot of proofs, downloaded a lot of kext and finally after thousand tries I reached the glory I have got a little problem with this "glory" after installation, I made too many proofs and this situation caused that I'm not sure what was the correct config, when I restarted after install I got a kernel panic, I decided to use the "force": 1.- Mounted the efi partition of my pendrive that starts perfectly 2.- Copied the efi folder of this partition 3.- Mounted the hard drive efi partition 4.- Replaced the hard drive efi folder with the pendrive efi folder 5.- Installed with kext wizard: - ATAPortInjector - AppleIntelPIIXATA2 - BCM5722D for Ethernet - AppleHDA-272.18.1-ADI1988B for ADI1983 sound Restarted and everything is working. I will install a HD5450 to have full graphics. I attached my "EFI" folder (to replace on the EFI partition, mounted with clover configurator) and the kext to install in S/L/E I hope can be useful to someone!
