wvdschel
Hi, I'm trying to install Sierra on my D830, which has a broken battery. I run it of AC all the time, so it doesn't really matter, but Sierra refuses to let me install. After picking the target disk, it complains "Your computer is not connected to a power source. You must plug in and connect your power adapter before installing." Is anyone else getting this? Is this related to the battery being broken? Can I get around this check somehow? Maybe override something in the ACPI tables?
