  1. Yes got the case sensitivity double checked - name too. I've tried 0, 1 and -1 but it still just waits at Clover screen for me to manually select boot drive. Anyways am still trying to sort out battery drain (it goes through in less than an hour) and sleep (very erratic) works sometimes and other times it doesn't.
  2. Ok that still hasn't worked. But I think I can live with that. The newer issue is my fans. They run constantly and battery only lasts about an hour max. I installed hwmonitor but it only can show me my HDD temperature and battery life. Am I still missing some config?
  3. I've set my default volume and changed timer to -1. On reboot I get Clover screen and manually I have to hit enter for it to start booting :/
  4. I used kext utility to install these kexts and they are put in S/L/E - unsure how I move them around. But after a reboot my audio slider is fixed and so is battery status! Do I still need to remove VoodooHDA or should I just leave things as they are since they are working already? The only thing I am now unsure about is hard drive temperature and fan control. I am not sure if they are normal behaviour but I won't worry till temps don't go beyond 60 degrees Celsius I think. One last thing - how do I get system to boot straight into Mac OS bypassing Clover screen completely? Is it even possible? PS: my wifi card isn't one of those supported ones (Intel I think) so am using usb wifi. Nullethernet is to get store working when using Wifi USB adapter as the only source of net.
  5. I get the following output: MacBook:~ user$ sudo kextcache -Boot -U/[/size] rebuilding //System/Library/PrelinkedKernels/prelinkedkernel kext-dev-mode allowing invalid signature -67062 0xFFFFFFFFFFFEFA0A for kext VoodooHDA.kext kext-dev-mode allowing invalid signature -67062 0xFFFFFFFFFFFEFA0A for kext NullEthernet.kext kext file:///System/Library/Extensions/DisableTurboBoostBattery.kext/ is in hash exception list, allowing to load kext-dev-mode allowing invalid signature -67013 0xFFFFFFFFFFFEFA3B for kext AppleMobileDevice.kext kext file:///System/Library/Extensions/AppleHDADisabler.kext/ is in hash exception list, allowing to load KernelCache ID: 00F1525FD3B2B827C2F6F653305D26F0 File at path '/System/Library/PrelinkedKernels/prelinkedkernel' changed, cannot be used Child process /usr/sbin/kextcache[17785] exited with status 77. Error 107 rebuilding /System/Library/PrelinkedKernels/prelinkedkernel This doesn't look right - is it right?
  6. I am on 10.12.3 - I do have audio on my hack but I cannot control it from the three hardware buttons on the right side of laptop. They mute but the audio stays on full blast and vice versa. I'll give these fixes a shot and hopefully it will get fixed! I've noticed my hard drive stays at 51 degree Celsius and fan speed is almost constant (going by the sound of fan) - is that normal?
  7. Thanks a lot Jack. This has worked. Three things that still don't work and I don't know how to fix without screwing my nicely working hack are: 1) Battery status 2) Sleep 3) Audio slider control using hardware buttons Any pointers? Thanks a ton for your help - I really like what this forum is doing for the latitude owners.
  8. I have a working hackintosh Sierra on my desktop. Is there a way to download whatever other OS version that may be compatible on EDP and then use that on my laptop in question? I only seem to get Sierra in my App Store.
  9. Hi Jack, I don't think you remember me from the PMs I have a Clover installation. Sierra 10.12.3 CPU - Intel i5 3xxxM processor 7200 rpm SATA, 500GB Screen resolution is 1366 x 768 Bios A10
  10. Hi guys, This is my first thread here so please let me know if I am not following any key rules for posting. I have a Dell e5430 currently running Sierra. I have almost everything work other than sleep and graphics. I've tried a lot of different patches and kexts and I am going no where with DSDT patching either. I have read a couple of posts here talking about EDP installs. I am totally new to this but can I install EDP on my current install and then do a "build" so that it can install all the necessary patches and files that aren't correct on my laptop? Or is it a totally unwise way to approach this?
