    Problem with native NVRAM - High Sierra - Dell Inspiron I14 5458

    Guys, I'm having problems with native NVRAM on my notebook

     
    I installed the macOS El Capitan and the macOS Sierra, I did not have any problems with NVRAM, but in macOS High Sierra, I'm having problems that I did not have in other versions, one of them (and the only one that needs to be solved) is in relation to NVRAM ...
     
    I created my pendrive through Terminal, installed Clover and started the installation, right at the beginning, I select the system language, in my case it would be Portuguese (Brazil), format my HDD and start the system installation normally, the system restarts and I put it to boot into the HDD, it continues the installation, however, the system language changes to English, and it installs the system as English
     
    the macOS High Sierra is the only one that I had this problem related to NVRAM, both in the installation and in the system already installed
     
    On my Clover, I added "EmuVariableUefi-64.efi" to the already installed system, and I selected the RC scripts option, but it also did not work
     
    Does anyone know how I can fix this?

    Okay, I tried several times and I could not include the Kexts of the / Library / Extensions folder in the rebuild :(

     

    I tried to install using EasyKext Pro, pointing to /L/E and it also did not work

     

    If I install in the folder /S/L/E will work the same way or not?

    I did a clean install of OS X El Capitan again and did as you told me

    - Brightness control does not work

    Unfortunately it did not work, my friend.

    I ran the first time the commands and ended up giving an error regarding kernel construction, after invalidating the kexts cache

    I restarted my notebook and ran the commands again, which returned me a message saying something about restarting the notebook

    So I rebooted the notebook and now OS X no longer starts, I executed in verbose mode and, after showing those monstes of plus signs (++++++++++++++++++++++) ++++++++++++++++++), it restarts...

    The commands below return an error when the last line was executed, then I used the command 'sudo kextcache -i /' and it worked for me (aka, all kext I installed in the HD using EasyKext Pro, and not leave nothing in the 'Other' folder in EFI)

     

     

    Command that I had problems:

     

           Sudo chmod - Rf 755 / L * / E *

           Sudo chown -Rf 0: 0 / L * / E *

           Sudo touch -f / L * / E *

           Sudo chmod -Rf 755 / S * / L * / E *

           Sudo chown -Rf 0: 0 / S * / L * / E *

           Sudo touch -f / S * / L * / E *

     

           Sudo kextcache -Boot -U /

     

    I removed the kext 'IntelBacklight' kext because it was conflicting (and also because it did not work)

     

    I added the kext 'IO80211Family', which is a responsibility for an Ethernet port and a WiFi card to work

     

    So I have a screen with brightness that seems to be at 50% (I can not increase or decrease) and a notebook without sound ...

    I did everything again as the tutorial says, and now, I'm having this problem ...

    I can not get it started with this clover configuration that is in the tutorial

    I can start it using the pendrive that was created using the unifail ...

    But when I start after installing the clover, this error appears ...

    Okay, I got the OS X The Captain running on my Dell Inspiron 5458

     

    Despite some problems, I managed to do WiFi and an Ethernet operation, just like a HD 5500, but there is one thing that does not work, the audio

     

    I've tried using VooDoo and a patch for AppleHDA but nothing works (Voodoo added all as audio inputs and outputs but any sound comes out)

     

     

    How can I make the audio work correctly??

    Right, I mounted a virtual machine to be able to create a pendrive to install macOS Sierra

    Does anyone know a tutorial (or the kexts for this notebook) so I can make a hackintosh fully work?
