The Fenvi 101 adapter has a USB cable.

I have the card connected to a PCIe slot and the cable from the card to a USB port on the motherboard.

Before connecting the USB cable of the Fenvi 101 card I have verified that the USB port works well.

I have tested it with 2 PCIe slots and with the 2 motherboard USB ports that my board has.

May have something to do with the mac model in SMBIOS is Mac Pro 4.1? o maybe something USB port ??

I have surfed the forum and I have seen several threads, I think what I am missing is the DSDT patching.

In the system report does not recognize that there is a half mini PCIE and I think it is because it is necessary to do something with the file dsdt.aml that I am using.

I am trying to run a combo card New Broadcom BCM94352HMB, on a Gigabyte P55a-UD4 motherboard.

For this I am using a card for Half Mini PCIE model FV101 brand Fenvi.

I have managed to run the wifi, but the bluetooth I can not. For the wifi I used the following patched:

 No bluetooth configuration preference appears in system preferences. I have tried to modify my config.plist with others patched without success.

no, I haven´t SSDT file. Anyway the kernel panic is not exclusive to cpu3 is all cpu.

No luck The only way I get the installation window to appear is with the DSDT.aml I used for the E6420 I5 from last week.

When I want to perform the installation does not let install on a HDD with Map partitions M.B.R, but it forces me to GUI.

Install fine but after don't bootable. No Luck , I don't get it.  Comes to appear in the desktop the icon of the apple but immediately followed by letters and"Kernei panic Cpu 3"

I do not understand why it does not let me install when the Hdd has partition map M.B.R and I also do not understand why it does not boot when I install it with GUI partition map.

Maybe it will be the USB that I created ... but everything works fine even if it installs correctly but when it has to boot from the HDD it does not.

On the other Dell E6420 I5 I did it as M.B.R and all good and on this laptop to install Sierra also has done it as M.B.R

However I will insist with some tests, but I think that maybe it will be better to install windows and then I'll take it off and look for another, especially because of the freezes it has suffered with MacOs Sierra.

 I thought the operation might be the same or similar to e6420 I5, but I can not do it right.

I have noticed that sometimes it remains frozen everything except the mouse , I can keep moving it on the screen, for example, when you open and move´s browser windows, finder windows,preferences windows and switch from one to another, between the first and second plane of the Desktop, the laptop stays frozen and only allows to move the mouse and invokes reboot from the button.

I imagine it has something to do with the graphics when you ask for performance to the video card is like it crashes.

Is this normal? Or equal to think that the laptop is not good at all and is some hardware problem?

Good to all, a few weeks ago I was preparing a hackintosh MacOsSierra 10.12.3 installed in E6420 i5 1366x768 and finally I was quite satisfied with the result obtained, Now I´m waiting to receive a new wifi + bluetooth card for this laptop compatible.

Recently and seen the result of the previous I purchased Dell E6420 I updated BIOS with the version A23  (Enable Optimus,  Enable Intel SpeedStep,  Enable C-State Control,  Enable Intel TurboBoost,  Disable HyperThread control, Disable Intel Virtualization Technology, Disable VT for Direct I/O) I7-2640M 2.80 GHz 8Gb RAM resolution 1600x900 HD Graphics 3000 512 MB graphics card.

I installed correctly MacOs Sierra 10.12.3 boots ok without USB using Clover 2.3k r3766.

Now it's working: mouse and keyboard, USB data ports,and Ethernet.

Does not work HDMI audio / video, internal audio wifi  and bluetooth (I think it will not work) SD card does not work.

I downloaded and used "E6420 hd_3000 A23" and I also tried the "E6420_Optimus_A23" files with DSDT.aml (No DSDT_LoRes) I checked the file "Config.plist" if it contained the audio and graphics patched and verified that if they exist In the config.plist file when I edit it with clover configurator.

When I did another E6420 I5 I remember I had a problem similar to the audio, but the HDMI video output worked fine, in this case the difference is the graphics card and the processor is different and I can not know what happens.

Any suggestions ??
