Just Installed 10.9 from 10.8.5 from scratch(follow the doc) on two D630 and updated to 10.9.2 with no problem. 

 

Latitude D630, BIOS A18, C2D T8300 2.4GHz, 4Go DDR2-800, nVidia Quadro NVS 135M, 1440x900, ML 10.8.5/Mav 10.9.2

Latitude D630, BIOS A18, C2D T9300 2.5GHz, 8Go DDR2-800, nVidia Quadro NVS 135M, 1440x900, ML 10.8.5/Mav 10.9.2 (testbed)

Can you point me on the document you followed? I have a D630 with 10.8.5 and want to upgrade to 10.9.2
