  1. So I was looking around on ways to connect to the internet with an unsupported wireless card (Mines an Intel Centrino Advanced N 6205) and I found this tool by a developer named Joshua Wise. It allows you to tether your Android device and use its network (Both Wi-Fi and Data) to go online with your computer.horndis-screenshot.png

    • Download the latest binary package, and double-click on it in your Downloads folder. Follow the instructions in the installer.
    • Assuming that the installation proceeds without errors, after it completes, connect your phone to your Mac by USB.
    • Enter the settings menu on your phone.
    • In the connections section, below Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, select “More…â€.
    • Select “Tethering & portable hotspotâ€.
    • Check the “USB tethering†box. It should flash once, and then become solidly checked.
  2. i tried that, it stops after few lines from the HDD, it says

    Loading Darwin 10.8

    Loading kernel cache /System/Library/Caches/com.apple.kext.caches/Startup/kernelcache

    Read HFS+ file: [hd(0,2)/System/Library/Caches/com.apple.kext.caches/Startup/kernelcache] 4096 bytes.

    Read HFS+ file: [hd(0,2)/System/Library/Caches/com.apple.kext.caches/Startup/kernelcache] 13470238 bytes.

But when I boot from the thumb drive it boots all the way through but its hd(1,2) instead of hd(0,2) and it loads OS X
