ok so it went to sleep after I left it alone for a few minutes, but will not wake unless I press power button - is this normal?
also, should it sleep when I close the lid or stay active until I leave it alone?
-
also notice sleeping and wake mode not working either - no blinking power light to indicate sleep mode

Pardon? How do I do that

Only shows internal speakers but hey. The rest of it works off the hard drive perfectly (where with the i5 processor it never would boot off the hard drive )

HDMI audio not working again.
-
I got it reinstalled, got past the rebuilding and permission repairing after the reinstall was done, then it froze again but ever since then its been perfect. ever since I disabled hibernation.
seems to be working perfect now. will try hdmi audio see if that works

As per your guide i only copied kexts from clover/other/le to /Library/Extensions
-
I’m reinstalling. I’ll tell you in a few minutes.
When i I rebooted it only showed the installer USB driver. windows and the recovery partition. Not my Mac OS partition
permissions.sh froze the computer entirely. No mouse or anything. Froze while trying to work on intel HD graphics I think it was but I’ll let you know shortly
-
Came to first hiccup.
Copied the kexts to /l/e then ran permissions.sh. Then it froze and had to power down and back up
when I did, clover no longer sees macOS install partition. Only windows and macOS recovery partition

Sweet! Hey. I think my i5 processor was a big culprit last time. The i7 install going very smooth so far. Not even the video glitch I had before during install with the i5 is happening now
-
ok in your guide you say I need to update my config.plist. do I still have to do that after I install or have you done it already?
-
Is that all I need to do? Then follow your guide for installing high sierra?
-
JakeLo - if you can help me set up the installer for use with high sierra, I would be appreciative. thanks!
