    hi，this‘s my nb：

    Gigabyte U2442N Ultrabook:

    Intel Core i5-3210M CPU @ 2.50GHz (Ivy Bridge)

    Intel HM77

    Intel HD Graphics 4000 (0x8086 (0x1458))

    Realtek ALC269

    nVidia GeForce 640M

    Intel Centrino Wireless-N 2230

    BIOS: U2442.F0A

    Elantouchpad: check in win7,that's:  ELAN PS/S Port Smart-Pad   hardware id:  ACPI \ ETD0A00


    in last year，i ask for help in this FL:＃250ã€ï¼ƒ269and＃270


    but i still can not use this ELAN driver,until  V3.3, thank you very much!


    but V3.3 in my NB have some problem:


     


    1.Scrolling two finger no work(ex:in the safari UP AND DOWN).


    2.Scrolling 3 finger  work ok(ex:in the safari BACK AND PREVIEW),but sometime can't work.


    3.Two fingers zoom work ok.


    4.Fn+FX work difference from my hardware.

    I don't think that is related to my driver, it could be the cache issues so try to fix if you have any kernel cache issues(look at your system log for those). If you're sure that my any one of my previous version driver works with the same flags then let me know and i'll take a look it.

     

     

     

    I've checked your log and it shows that your touchpad is not Elan because its failing for the query of the driver so confirm about your touchpad and i think its Synaptics touchpad, use VoodooPS2xxxx driver.

     

    but my touchpad is really ELAN :

    before install ELAN kext,i'd del all of the ps2 kext, but still  no working
