Hi,

To learn macOS, I want to install macOS as a Guest OS on VMware Workstation.

Host OS is Windows 10 and hardware configuration is i5 8th Gen with 1TB HD and 12GB RAM.

I did Google searched for Installing macOS on VMware Workstation and I found some links.

All links have similar steps and I have gone through steps explained in the link.

As an example, https://techsviewer.com/install-macos-mojave-vmware-windows/. After Step 7: Editing the VMX File, VDX file doesn’t open.

Please guide me so that I can install macOS as a Guest OS.

To install MacOS Mojave 10.14 on VMware Workstation; I have gone through the link

Other virtual machines (Windows 7, Windows 10 & Windows Server 2016) are also installed and working fine on VMware Workstation. However, I checked BIOS. Virtualization is enabled.

While installing MacOS Mojave 10.14; I see the error message as The CPU has been disabled by the guest operating system.

Desktop Configuration is as:
Processor: AMD FX 8320
Motherboard: ASUS M5A97
RAM: 16GB (HyperX Fury)

Pls guide me to install MacOS Mojave 10.14 on VMware Workstation.
