  1. Hy, i'm new here

I have a Lenovo Y560 with sound ALC272, i can get it to work in ML using this but now in 10.9 DP4/5 it's not working at all. I have tried various versions of VoodooHDA but they are not even loading, i'm not asking to fix my problem, just please point me in (a) right direction if you can. Thank you!

    upload your codec_dump

  2. thank you for your efforts, but it's for an completely different codec yours ALC270 mine STAC9205, another nodes !

I have a patched and working kext on ML 10.8.5 which also works on mavericks but i want to patch the 10.9 kext

if you're using Clover Bootloader, change config.plist to no caches, it's worked for me.

  3. hi, thanks for trying to help

yes I tried it but had nothing working... I then tried the one for anerik70 which partially works. (mic only)

I and anerik have identical paths, but still I can't hear anything from the speaker, and I can't understand why :/

    codec verb:

    01871c30 01871d10 01871e81 01871f00
    01971c40 01971d00 01971ea0 01971f90
    01b71c10 01b71d00 01b71e13 01b71f90
    02171c60 02171d10 02171e21 02171f00
    path maps:
    A.input:
    1.Mic built-in: 8-35-25
    2. Line-in: 9-34-24
    B. Output:
    1.HP: 33-12-2
    2.SPK: 27-13-3
note: If you using Clover boot loader, change config.plist to  Boot Nocaches

    AppleHDA.kext.zip

  4.

What is the purpose of the binary patch after the codec line 7, and how do you calculate it ?

I want to  patch the Mavericks AppleHDA, the ML binary patch is not working anymore

    Thanks

    1. For AppleHDA 10.7.2 AND 10.7.3
    2. Enter "FF 87 EC 1A" in search Box and
    3. enter "69 02 EC 10" in replace box
    4. Press "Replace All" button to replace
    5.
    6. Again
    7. enter "8F 1A 02" in search box and "84 9B 01" in replace box
    8. Press "Replace" button

Send me codec_dump, i can help you fix

    or try binary:

    Find: 84 08 ec 10 replace all by 00 00 00 00

    Find: 84 19 d4 11 replace all by 69 02 ec 10
