Are the 4K drives still aproblem to make bootable installations from them?

What I did is to make the boot part on an old 256 USB pendrive.

ok. confirmed. NOTHING TO DO WITH THE VIDEOCARD. I`m whetting the same error.

The strange thing is that I have a working lion on a 2 tera disk working installed with my hack rc1.

How can I identify with is the difference in the installation ?

Well, I use the MyHack USB stick to boot the new installation in this case.

I have a second hackintosh that WORKS with exact the same Hardware EXCEPT that the video card is a nvidia 7200 now and the working one is a nvidea 420. Tomorrow I will switch videocards an see what happens. I remember I got this problem ones that I used 7xxx cards not suported on 64 bits OS.

I was able to install MyHack 2 RC1 with no problem.

Now, with the same hardware I did that, I cant make lion to work.

I was able to install RC4.1, but as soon I try to boot after installing chameleon+extre, I get this on the screen.

 

boot0: GTP

boot0: test

boot0: test

boot0: GTP

boot0: test

boot0: test

boot0: error

 

and get stack there.

So I tried to install with RC1 and work with no problem.

 

Any clue on this one?

I was able to update to 10.7.1 Server from Software Update with no problem, except that I had change AppleHDA.kext with a working one again.

I have updated chameleon only with my hack 2.0 RC4.1

It stop working with the permanent reboot thing.

So as I have no chance to revert the issue to make my system boot with no -f.

I wanted to install chameleon only from my hack RC1 because the 1024x768x32 trick did not work for me.

I live in Argentina, South America. My mother toungue is Spanish.

Im a mac user since the Mac 128,though I used an Apple II (wich was not a Mac ) for some time.

Since then, I went through a journey that forced me to use windows and unix commandline too, so i have some knolege on all of this OSs, some knolege on web dev too, and started playing with hackintoshes with iDenev and then discovered the vanilla way. Im a fan of the myhack method now.

I would like Apple selling their OS for specific pc hardware, but like that is not on Apple focus, I like to experience how hard that is to achive.

 

Im a general knolege user with no particular talents, but if I can help in anyway, I will do.
