ok .. i have finished my exams now and i'm ready to try installing mac os again on my laptop so before doing any thing i just need your help to guide my to some steps which will make my laptop double boot (windows & mac os ) thanks a lot

yes ... i figured that out after a lot of searching ... but i did it wrong also because i was resetting the system root password and it says to change the administrator account's password ... just read that now ... really i'm sad ... i think i will give it another try soon .... thank you for your help and do you know any thing about doing double boot ?

no i didn't reached that point ... i'm still at first step ... the step when you use myhack.app to prepare the USB stick ... when i opened myhack.app it requests an administrative password to be able to have access to "sudo" like it said in the installation steps so as i've said in the first comment i can't get that password ... so if you know any thing about that please help

hi there i was with my friend today to prepare the boot able USB stick and put the os x on it but i was stuck in the administrative password ... my friend dose not have any password to log in to his laptop and when i searched on that password on mac help on his laptop i found that it should be with the administrator of the mac machine or on the install CD of the os on his laptop ... so he does not have that CD ... now i'm stuck on that problem because myhack.app does not continue so what should i do ??? another thing i was asking about on my previous topic that if i want to do double boot between (mac & windows) what should i do ??? thanks in advance sorry for the ten questions

hi there, i just want to ask about some thing step one in the guide must be done on a mac computer ??? i don't have one but i will do it on my friend's macbook pro after i prepare the installation device (USB Stick) and put the mac os on it ready to be installed then i put it on my laptop (asus g74sx-a1) and then start to boot from it or what??? i just don't understant that part (frist prepare the USB Stick on a mac , Second put the USB on my laptop and boot from it to install the hackintosh) is that correct or what ??? and another thing if i want to remove the mac OS from my laptop what should i do? sorry for the long statements thanks

hi every one, i'm E.hunt i live in Egypt i'm a student in the interior design department at helwan university , faculty of applied arts . i haven't use a hackintosh before but I intend to hackintosh my asus g74sx-a1 laptop ... so basically i'm new to this . i don't have any experiences in hackintoshing but i found that the guide here is too helpful after a lot of searching . i'm interested in hackintosh because of my work as a designer which is so easy to do with a mac OS based computer (there is a design programs which are much better to work with if they are installed on mac OS) ... so my interest is because of my work . my computer skills level on a scale of 5 is like 3/5 . i have a very good experience with windows operating systems from window 95 to windows 7 64-bit which is my current OS on my laptop and i would like to have a double boot (windows 7 & 10.7 max os lion) after i hackintosh it (i wish that will be easy). i don't have any experience in programming languages . i think that is all thank you for reading yours, E.hunt
