I'm still struggling with it however I have exhausted all PS2 options, does anybody know what else may be causing this issue?

i reinstalled it but the problem has persisted

I believe that I forgot to mention that whenever I go into EDP it starts typing "^[0C" repeatedly of its own accord so I doubt it has to do with the nub

 Disk permissions doesn't do anything

and my Extra Folder seems to have to PS/2 related kexts. it has AppleACPIPS2Nub.Kext and ApplePS2Controller.kext

the glitch is demonstrated in the video and i'm wondering if anybody has ever faced this issue before and if they have then how to remedied it

it only works for a short period of time

then it goes back and i have to repair again but even repair only works sometimes

sometimes it happens even after I repair

it also repairs the exact same thing every time

all my trackpad options are working including my trackpoint but to make my trackpoint work, I lost my ability to scroll

so how can i boot in 32 bit?

because my touchpad is working,

So I successfully installed Lion on my NVIDEA D630

I cannot see my hard drive on my desktop,

any solutions?

additionally, my keyboard doesn't work

I read somewhere that the plist file is System/CoreService/Setup Assistant.app/Contents/Info.plist

but in my myHack usb, I can't find the setup assistant.app

is there an alternate way to find the app

how do you get past when it asks you for a keyboard

because I don't have a keyboard

can I just add a kext for keyboard

or do i need to buy a usb keyboard to get into the actual OS

Also, if I get a usb keyboard and go to the OS, can i add a kext for keyboard or do I need to keep using a USB Keyboard

Whoops, yes sorry, probably should have listed that! I have the Nvidia card yes. Used myHack and EDP2.1.

 

The one thing I just did that caused a KP was booting while connected to a VGA external monitor. Are you having this same issue as well? I can't get it to boot without KPing even with the VGA cable unplugged.

could you please tell me what kexts you chose because i think it's my selection of kexts that is causing messups

Hey everyone. Got Lion 10.7 (no updates yet) on my Core 2 duo D630 this morning. Got the audio working just recently and had good luck with everything else. The only thing I can't figure out is the Ethernet and Wifi. I have the Dell 1395 I believe inside, does that need to be rebranded? If so, then there should be no problems here. Just curious if anyone had a few spare kexts around that might assist with those two items.

 

Other than that, everything runs pretty smoothly. Great job guys on EDP 2.1!

Hi Guys,

I have D630 NVIDEA which I tried to use myHack with a Extra Folder from EDP 2.1

I get to the Apple Logo but then get a kernel panic. Should I change the method or the EDP.

I am about to give up and return this if nothing works out. Please, please,please Help.
