Working fine on d630 intel and 630c nvidia only thing i had to do was replace AppleACPIPlatform.kex with an old one and change bios drive settings from ATA to ahci and it booted like a charm

 

oh i did it the easy way after updating pulled out the disk, put in a usb caddy and then used another machine to replace the file

Running lion on 630 intel graphics with SSD and 4GB ram EDP 1.9 sleep just won't work tried hibernate mode 0.

 

same setup works fine on 430 but clearly its limited cpu and ram any tips ??

Has anyone tried one of these yet?

here is what i did after days trying to get it sorted. pulled out the hdd from the m65 used and external caddy and installed from usb to usb on my 430.

 

installed combo update rebooted on the d430 then setup boot loader and tony mac x 86 nv ida update, put the disk back in the m65 job done.

working on d420 and d430 with 10.6.6 next test will be on a e6400

has anyone tried this on a m65 dell i got it working on a 420 no problem but would like to use the bigger screen, faster processor etc on the m65
