I misspoke, I used only kexts from Edp 2.2 including keyboard. I tried some different keyboard kext for 6.3. Extra kexts pasted below.
AppleACPIPS2Nub.kext
AppleHDADisabler.kext
BCM5722D.kext
FakeSMC.kext
IntelCPUMonitor.kext
IOAudioFamily.kext
IONetworkingFamily.kext
NullCPUPowerManagement.kext
OSvKernDSPLib.kext
VoodooHDA.kext
VoodooPS2Controller.kext
VoodooTSCSync.kext
In EDP I selected option for D630 Intel, Vodoo PS2 and yes for every thing else.
Regards,
Freedomrock
Thanks - So you installed EDP 2.2 on Snow Leopard 10.6.3. Right ?

Geekbench Score Lion 10.7.2 of 2601; Integer 2407, Floating Point 3676, Memory 2034, Stream 1913. I guess I could export save as pdf and attach if you need more info.
This is on a D630, T7100, Intel Graphics, A17 bios, 1395 wi-fi (working) 4 MB RAM, 500 GB Seagate Hybrid Drive.
I installed using myHack method, EDP 2.2 using Lion install image I saved from prior Mac Download for my Mini Server. I removed zero kext. EDP options , 6 - D630 Intel, Apple PS2, and yes for everything else. I selected Graphic enabler in Wizard. I then reinstalled a different keyboard kext supplied on this forum that works better. Rebuilt, Repair, Rinse, Repeat ....
The Geekbench score for the same system running 6.6.3 was 2780. I didn't bother running 6.6.8 after combo update because it was so slow.
Hope this helps,
Freedomrock
Thanks - can you provide a list of kexts under extras and a link to the other keyboard kext.

Can anyone running 10.7.2 Lion please post their benchmark from Xbench or GeekBench.
A list of installed kexts in extra and any kexts removed from System folder would also help.
Thanks in advance.

and you have set bios defaults plus set ahci for sata?
AHCI = yes

did you turn off dynamic acceleration in bios?
Turning off dynamic accel helps about 5-10%.
Just finished installing 10.6.3 with minimum kexts (FakeSMC, NullCPUPowerManagement, TSCsync). Runs about 3x faster (i.e., normal). Removing NullCpuPower causes slow down on 10.6.3 again.
On 10.7.2 still can't get any improvement w same kexts (with or without NullCPUPowerManagement).
Trying to isolate the problem but it may be a kext in the system that requires removal (tried removing AppleGraphicsControl.kext with no improvement).
cheers

Thanks - but no difference in performance with A17.
Can anyone with D630 Intel graphics post their Xbench numbers for comparison.
Also tried booting in 64 bit mode (unstable but not any faster).
Tried turning off one core and system is faster more responsive. CPU core speed also reported at 1.99 ghz vs 1.8 ghz w both cores. So likely a problem voodoo TSC sync kext.

always bump up the bios to last dell revision... i think it's a17 according to our wiki for d630

I'm out of ideas.
Running 10.7.2 on D630 w Intel GMA graphics. Unresponsive and generally slow (about 1/3 the speed of my mac mini w similar specs).
Tried standard boot pack for Lion and also added EDP2.2. Also tried booting w just faksmc.kext. BIOS is A13. XBench scores attached.
Suggestions appreciated

OK - so you did finally get Lion running. But is lion cpu and openGl performance slow or is it as snappy as Snow Leopard.
Thanks, again.
