Hello, my real name is Ryan, but many friends call me by my dj name: Cable. I make a living as a motel manager in Seattle, WA. When DJing I play breakbeat, and house dance music. As far as hackintoshes go, I first ran OSX on my Dell d630 about 3 or 4 years ago. I Had put that machine in storage due to it having a cracked screen, but am back using it again due to failure of my main machine. And so being the tinkerer I am, I am trying to get OSX on it again, but this time I don't want to use a distro like before. I originally looked into the possibility of running osx on pcs just out of curiosity. I knew macs had switched to Intel hardware, and I decided to look into it, and I was amazed when I discovered the huge hackintosh community. So I joined the fray, so to speak. My computer skills are pretty good, but I am not much of a programmer, although I can read/write/change some basic code if necessary to make something work. Really what I am is someone with a knack for things technical and am good at looking things up online to tell me how to do what I need to do. Thank you.
