Can you please explain what you did to fix the kernel panic when booting from the docking station?
Actually, I did not figure out the problem. Recently, I upgraded the USB Kext and used defer-usb option. It seems to be fine.
But I still need to do mannualy. Boot the laptop without docking and then plug it in the docking.
Recently, I decided to change to Clover UEFI. The system seems to be more stable than Chameleon, in my opinion.

You could leave all the files in /E/E, just install the files in /Extra/Extension/SLE to /S/L/E. Not sure if the files will work in the next update, but the files in Extra/Extension should work. You might just need to put nullcpupowermanagement back to Extra/Extensions if you get KP after the update.
MyHack probably won't be available until end of December.
Normally, I will install NullCPUPowerManagement.kext before conducting any updates. After updating successfully, I will patch AICPU again to enable SpeedStep. Last thing to do is to remove NullCPUPowerManagement.kext.
Hackintosh Vietnam Tool or multifail can be used to patch AICPU.

Hello,
my Dell is still working fine, but this morning no more Sound, in Systemstetting , no sound installed. I checked the HDA.kext, but could not find anything wrong.
Any hint?
Yosemite use graphics kext to enable sound. Check bootpack by Jake Lo to ensure you installed the right kext.

I followed the guide here: https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/7478-dell-latitude-yosemite-install-guide/?p=45213 to create USB installer successfully.
However, i got error 'cannot find kernel in /System/Library/Kernels/".

That worked great! Two more questions,
I don't have battery status working
and FileNVRAM.dylib makes it so I can't boot
Any suggestions?
I had no problem with battery status. Please check and do the following steps.
- Ensure that you place DSDT downloaded from here in /Extra folder in your hard disk.
- Ensure that ACPIBatterManager.kext is installed in your /S/L/E folder. Kext is in Boot Pack.
- Repair permissions and rebuild cache.

Using experience
I got a problem with docking station. The computer gets kernel panic if it is boot while being plugged in docking station. Booting the computer and then plugging in the docking station is OK. No error occurs. UPDATE: Removing Private Data in Chameleon.Boot.Plist to fix the problem.
Battery is fully recognised so the system can operate longer than Mavericks on my laptop. However, it runs a little bit hotter than Mavericks. It seems a problem relating to accessing to hard disks. I did not have this problem when running Mavericks.

Why the MBR patch?
You should instruct to format the USB installer and the OS X installed drive to MBR too?
Thank you Jake Lo. I added such instruction to my post.
You know if MBR is not patched the USB Installer will require HDD formatted as GPT. I installed on MBR partition.

Requirements
- A working hackintosh or real mac
- Downloaded Mac OS X 10.10 (14A389) Yosemite Install Apps from App Store
- 8GB USB stick. Using Disk Utility to format to Mac OS Extended (Journaled) + one partition + MBR selected in Options.
Now let’s get started…
Step 1:
Please follow this guide (http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/301138-new-usb-installer-os-x-yosemite-chameleon-r2456-v2/) to create a USB Installer for Yosemite.
Step 2:
Download Yosemite MBR Patch 10.10 (14A389) from this link
Extract, copy and overwrite OSInstall.mpkg to
/System/installation/Packages
in your USB Installer
Extract, copy and overwrite OSInstall to /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks
/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks
in your USB Installer
Step 3:
Download OS X Yosemite Chameleon v3.zip from this link and paste in your USB Installer
Download Extra from this link and paste in your USB Installer
Download FakeSMC from this link and paste in your USB Installer
Step 4
Boot from your USB Installer with boot flag
-f -v GraphicsEnabler=Yes IntelCapriFB=3
Plug in an USB external usb for using during installation
Please be advised that graphics will not be recognised during installation. Screen will be lagged.
Use Disk Utility to format your partition target for Yosemite as Mac OS Extended (Journaled).
Please be noted that at the end of installation process there will be an error showed up. Ignore it.
Restart the system with your USB Installer using boot flags using to boot for installation.
Step 5: Post installation
Enable running applications from Any where in System Preferences | Privacy and Security
Run OS X Yosemite Chameleon v3.zip in your USB Installer and select to install Chameleon to your Yosemite partition.
Follow this guides to get DSDT, SSDT and all kext.
Use Kext Wizard to install all kexts in Extension folder in Extra you dowloaded before in S/L/E
Install FakeSMC in your USB Installer in S/L/E
Use Kext Wizard to repair permissions
Reboot
NOTE: Screen will be crazy during booting process. Ignore it. And booting process is slower than that of Mavericks. Maybe because of error during installation process.
Any question? Leave it here and I will share my experience.
UPDATE
Fixing sleep issue
Removing Private Data in Chameleon.Boot.Plist to fix the problem relating to sleep.
Enabling HDMI port
- Download Hackintosh Vietnam Tool from this link.
- Run the tool and select Kexts > Graphics > HD4000 DP/HDMI port
- Finish the process and restart the computer.
Fix warning: HDD is too hot
I have not found reasons yet. However, if I installed FakeSMC ver 6, HWMonitor always shows high temperature of HDD. I install FakeSMC ver 5 and nothing happens.
But, P States checking shows that there is not enough states as generating by ssdtPRGen.sh. Trying to find solutions.

I have a Dell Latitude E6430 with detail specifications as following: BIOS A12 | Core i7 3520M 2.9HGz | 4GB RAM | Intel HD 4000 1366x768.
I use this guide to create USB to install Mavericks on my laptop. However, my laptop cannot boot with this USB. It always show error “Super IODevice: [Fatal] found unsupported …â€. I checked and found out that the error related to C-states not initiated. The language choosing windows appears and then error log force me to restart.
But I did check BIOS and saw that C-states was turned on. I tried with many version of Marvericks from 10.9.0 to 10.9.4 but the same situation happens.
Can anyone tell me what problem is? How can I set up my laptop?
Thank you so much.

I think that if you got the error "system uptime ...", you should deal with SMBios.plist. Replace your current one by another. It is my experience.
-
Bronxtech and pokenguyen ! Thanks so much for your guides.
I did patch match_kernel and the problem was solved.
By the way, do you have any recommendation for SMBios.plist for my laptop when updating to 10.9.3. I used SMBios enclosed in the EDP and got error when updating to 10.9.3 (system uptime in nanosecond ....)
Thanks.
-
Pokenguyen, thanks so much
-
Chameleon, pokenguyen.
And, I did patch AICPUPM as your guide successfully. Therefore, I got 5 steps when checking by using AppleIntelCPUPowerManagementInfo.KEXT.
-
I appreciated a lot your information.
And, by the way, Is there any guide on how to patch match_kernel?
-
I successfully installed Mavericks 10.9.2 on my Dell Latitude E6430 (detail specifications are listed in my signature). With guides from Pokenguyen, I also activated SpeedStep for Core i7 Ivy Bridge. I use AppleIntelCPUPowerManagementInfo.KEXT to check whether SpeedStep is activated or not. The result is YES. I got 5 step ! Good news.
Recently, I checked on HWMonitor and found out that my CPU always runs at maximum speed (3.37GHz). Only when the laptop is awaken from sleep, the CPU runs at minimum speed. Even there is no application running but CPU is at maximum speed. Please be advised that I use FORCE QUIT to end all application except FINDER.
Can someone help me identify the problem? May laptop consumes battery so fast and battery idicator does not update automatically.
Thank you so much.
-
Thanks pokenguyen,
After running Chameleon wizard to update the bootloader to the latest version, the issue was fixed. I guessed the older version of Chameleon had a problem in identifying the new Intel CPU.
Thanks.

Thank you pokenguyen.
You are the developer of Hackintosh Viet Nam Tool, aren't you? I use this to set up my system.

I succeeded installing Mac OS X 10.9.2 on my Dell Latitude E6430 | Ivy Brigde Core i7 | Intel Graphics HD 4000. Everything is fine, including SD card readers.
However, my Mavericks does not recognise my CPU correctly. Instead of Core i7, it show Core i5. I tried SMBios included in EDP and many others but the issue is still there.
It is not a really big problem. But I want to know the reason why? Could you please tell me? Thank you so much.

Reading many guides from many people, I successfully dualboot Windows 8 and Yosemite using Clover UEFI. The system seems to be more stable than Chameleon, in my opinion. Everything works fine except Function key does not work.
If you like it, I can post detailed step-by-step I did.
