Problem solved ATI 5470 is working now by injecting EDID ( updated to 10.8.5 & injected EDID, now its working ,maybe I used wrong kext before)

It seems that screen only works with 1366x768 that is not on list of selectable resolutions. when i choose resolution lower than 1366x768,i get verticle bars & when higher selected i get fancy colors. Tried to add 1366x768 in chameleon plist but always get resolution higher than native so gets fancy colors. 1280x768 works but not fullscreen working (black bar at right i.e unused screen)

Tried AtiConfigs like Eulemur,Langur,Baboon, colors are distorted on laptop screen but colors are ok on screen connected on VGA port.

vbios bump from AIDA on windows ioreg dump from ioreg explorer from macosx & 2 seperate DSDT patches I used previously ( They enable headphone,audio,internal mice ) EDID_win.txt moninfo_win.txt vgabios.txt ioreg.txt Inspiron N5010.txt Inspiron N5010 15R.txt DSDT.txt

Tried both ways still not working. Any clue? Is there any DSDT way?

Hi, I recently installed MacOSX 10.8 on Dell Inspiron n5010 Audio,Ethernet,Integrated Webcam,Miice,Headphone all working.. But I can't play view video in VLC,Mplayer, just audio is coming & no video. "It says OpenGL accelaration is not supported on your Mac Your Mac lacks Quartz Extreme accelaration,which is required for video output" My laptop has ATI Mobility Radeon 5470HD graphics card. Anyone have kext for this or solution? I tried one kext for ATI 5470 but when I boot with GraphicsEnabler=Yes i get vertical bars on screen
