I've just install 10.10.5 on my dell 7537 4200U but applehda's not working corectly

Only headphones working, no speakers sound. Could anyone please help me?

I have corectly installed appleHDA and it worked. But when I restart the system, there is no sound.

What is the problem?

Patched AppleHDA does, in fact, work - as I'm listening to some Pink Floyd with it right now

Where can I download AppleHDA kext for alc283? 

Just install it by Kext wizard or have to do anything else?

Hi there, I have already install Yosemite on my dell 7537 but the sound does not work

I tried to install applehda for alc283 in the post before.

Also, I can't boot from my old windows 8.1 >.<

Can you help me? I found new problem with my computer. I installed dual boot windows 8.1 and Mac. But when i shutdown and restart the machine, the time went wrong

Do you just rename ssdt-2.dsl to .aml, or open it by MacIASL, then save as as ACPI Machine Language (AML)?

 

You can check if it's working correctly or not by going to System Information > Graphics/Display. If you see only Intel HD, ssdt-2.aml is correct. If you see both Intel HD and nVidia, you should check again.

Yes. I have replaced old dsdt with your dsdt, fixed ssdt-2.dsl to .aml and copy ssdt.aml which is created by HVT to EFI/Clover/ACPI/patched => AppleHDA worked

remove s/l/e/applehdadisabler then rebuild your cache by kext wizard

It didn't work

then remove voodoohda, applehda disabler and install this kext. No need to repatch dsdt.

Another thing, if you select the patch and nothing is shown on the upper right, it's problem of your interrnet connection, it can't download the patch.

 

Also, replacing wiffi on this laptop is extremely easy, it's as easy as ram upgrade.

I think problems is not at my internet connection Cuz some patches worked but others didn't (Exp: 2.12 didn't work in DSDT.dsl but it worked in SSDT-7). I don't know why @@

Thanks to your guide, I have installed Mac OSX 10.9.2 on my Dell Inspiron 7537. But it's still some problem:

- VoodooHDA doesn't work after reboot I have to reinstall by HVT many times and fix with Kext Utility 

- Cant access wifi 

I wanna install AppleHDA for better sound and i found this http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/293863-applehda-patch-requests/ for my ALC283 but I can't install this kext. Could you help me?
