  1. Could you try this Extra folder?

Put it in your root, and delete the old Extra folder.

    Remove VoodooHDA.kext out of /System/Library/Extensions

Move all the extensions of /Extra/Extensions to /S/L/E (because you use stupid unifail).

    Fix permissions.

Made a myHack USB boot with 10.8.2 and installed to a new partition. First(initial) boot OK to new installed partition. Added the Extra from you, fixed permissions and it booted nicely(as before) with one cpu installed.

NEXT: will install second cpu and try again....

    thanks//zztony

  2. Nice system!

If you could add me on Skype, (royal_noob3), we could have a look! I think it is something with DSDT patching we need.

Could you make a clean install with myHack (10.8.2) (http://myhack.sojugarden.com), that is the install method we recommend.

When we are working on it, we will make a topic with progress information (for other people) and add it to EDP.

    Added to Skype!

Not possible to nothing with 2cpu's installed, but I have a clean install based on unifail/Easybeast with only cpu installed that work just fine. It's not as easy to get a clean install with myHack unfortunately....

    Thanks//Zztony

  3. Hi, I have a Dell Precision Workstation T7500 with 2 Quad-Core 'westmere' Xeon [email protected] and 12GB ECC RAM installed. I got it up&running very smoothly with unifail - Install 10.8.2 - multifail = OK!
BUT, It seems impossible for me to even boot OSX with both CPU's installed, I've tried any version.(tried 10.5.x/10.6.x/10.7.x/10.8.x)

What do I need to do to boot this system with both CPU's installed?

KP error and instant reboot every time, very hard to be quick enough to record or take a pic of it.....

    Any ideas or suggestions?

    Cheers//Zztony

  4. hmm.. could you give us a bit more info.. like :

    1. Do you have a modified DSDT optimized for your rig ?

    2. What kind of KP's do you get ?

    3. Got at any shots of the kp ?

The more info you can share - the bigger is the chance we can help out :)

    1. NO DSTS p.t., will try to install without DSDT first, then work my way towards C&P-States, generation of these and sleepmode & restart when rig at least boots ands are stable.

    2. Most KP´s are related to ACPI, IOPCI and PowerMngmt stuff.

    3. Attached 2 of those....

    Thanks, //Ztony

  5. Hello everyone,

I have some problems installing Lion on my Dell Precision T7500 with 2 quad core Intel Xeon W5580. I´ve installed a lot of Latitude´s and other hackintosh´s over the years, but all have been single cpu´s.

Tryed all different bootloaders and boot-parameters, but no luck, KP every time though different codes a lot of them are related to power mngmt.

Anyone done this success on a dual quad core rig?

    Cheers, //Zztony
