Is there a way of completing the install without using chimera (chameleon, stolen and rebranded) or something I should of done different? I was just following the guide and information from the other posts.

Got my E6410 yesterday and followed the guide and I now have a 10.8.4 running very nicely.
I installed it on to an SSD and the performance is very impressive, only problem I ran into was iMessage not signing in and even with the latest chimera (chameleon, stolen and rebranded) I had no luck.
I then decided to give the Clover boot loader fix a try -

This worked but every time I booted without the USB iMessage would not log in again so I then installed Clover onto the SSD and reapplied the fix and problem solved!!!
Have to agree with jansenspencers earlier post about Clover being ugly though!

Hi I'm awaiting delivery of my E6410 and I'm going to install 10.8 as per the guide and wondered if anyone has had any luck enabling audio via the display port?
Doing some research before starting and I found this guide for the Thinkpad T410 which has very similar specs to the E6410 (identical graphics) and they have had success with the audio.
Not sure how much this will help as this will be my first hackintosh and I feel like I'm on the bottom run of a tall ladder!!

Looks like there has been some good progress on a 745 with Mountian Lion here -
I will try to give this a go this week and post back with results.
The poster states that he can't get sleep working, any ideas?

Ahh I get it now! Think I will leave it as is for the moment as it does seem fine and I will just put up with Clovers ugliness.
