Those were the settings that I had, but it still operates at x20 2.66ghz after waking from sleep. the cpu also runs at a higher voltage after waking from sleep as well. Usually around 1.32 V.
Its got a Zotac h55-ITX mobo with a i5 750 cpu. Its running yosemite just fine to the best of my knowledge. Let me know what other info would be helpful.
I am having an issue with my desktop's speedstep. When I boot the system, it works just like it is supposed to to the best of my knowledge, but after it wakes from sleep, it is stuck at max speed. Any thoughts?
The kernel is where it is supposed to be I think. it's in System/Library/Kernels in Yosemite. My issue now is that I can boot it without the -f bootflag, but if I do, the trackpad, and battery meter are all wonky ie it does not recognize it as having a battery or trackpad at all.
I got everything up and running now. My one question now is that I still need to use the -f bootflag for it to start up now that the installation has completely finished. is that supposed to be the case?
I was having some problems with the drive. It was showing as a raid drive in chameleon, and after reverting it to the old format, it would boot as normal. My issue now it that I get an error to the effect of unsupported chip found at which point the screen goes black
I am dual booting, but I tried taking out the other drive and nothing changed. Still saying that it cant find /System/Library/Kernels/kernel. I booted my old Mavericks installation and confirmed that that particular file is indeed where it's supposed to be.
Thank you so much for your help and patience. I got through the installation process, but when I try to boot for the first time after the install I get can't find /System/LibraryKernels/Kernel. I placed the Kernels folder in my install disk like it says in the guide
Thanks for the help. Removing FileNVRAM.dylib got me a bit farther in the booting process, but now I get a kernal panic for AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement
Thanks
I got Mavericks up and running great but ran into problems installing Yosemite as well. I followed Jake Lo's guide, but it would hang up during booting at applekextexludelist.kext every time. any thoughts?
