I had tried doing a hackintosh with my D620 before and gave up since it was real problematic. I decided to try again and everything seems to be working great this time.I have one of the docks,and when I undock the dell the trackpad acts up.I can't get the cursor to move but a tiny little bit and it starts highlighting.Also,when I redock the dell it won't start charging,like it's not on the dock at all.Are these issues fixable,or am I doomed to not be able to use the dock.My build specs are:

Dell Latitude D620

Intel core 2 duo 2ghz

2 gigs ram

intel graphics low

osx 10.7.5 lion 

made usb with myhack3.1.2,extra folder from here,and latest E.D.P.

Thanks guys.It's working.I got combo update done and EDP tools worked just like JDubU said,I had to type the password blind and it worked.Rebooted with no kernel panics.I was about to give up and you guys saved the day.Thanks so much and mark this as solved!

Hey everyone.I discovered this site after buying a Dell D620 and now have a hackintosh thanks to the great tools and guides here.I have a couple of questions since this is my first hack.I have installed OSX Lion 10.7.2 on my Dell using my hack and the boot pack from here.I downloaded the installedp.dmg from here and ran that,and it does its auto run stuff,but when it goes into terminal I can not enter any text at all.Could someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong.I need to get sound working and make sure cooling is going to work properly so I don't fry this thing.I have also downloaded the 10.7.4 combo update and need a guide on how to do the update on the Dell.

My specs are:Dell Latitude D620

2.0ghz Intel core2duo

2gigs ram

60 gig hard drive

Intel graphics

Broadcom wireless

No bluetooth installed yet

Bios revision A10
