Hi, s Has anyone use this chaps EFI? https://github.com/ameeno/Dell-E7440-Hackintosh/ I had pretty good success this time, with mojave.... apart from the screen brightness Fn + <key> were wrong, i.e. not the up / down... but instead F2 and PrntScrn I think. Also, I found the 2 finger, right click (for context) very poor, worse than libinput in linux. I'm still a relative newb when it comes to kexts etc. so if there is a fix, please make it easy for me thanks Neil

Hi, I'm trying to install high sierra However, I cannot make it to the disk utility section. I did try mac os several years ago and i seem to recall clover wouldn't work and I might of used chamealeon (or something)? Does anyone have a good guide on the right way to attempt this install? Hi, Just managed to get MAC OS X 10.9.5 installed on my E7440 i7-4600U with the help of this forum, thank you I've struggled a bit with Kext for the touchpad and keyboard. From stock, the ALPS touchpad seem's quite zittery regarding multi touch activity. Because of this, its quite difficult to do the 2 finger scroll and 2 finger tap for right click. I tried installing the driver I found on this forum with regard to a voodoops2 driver, but it did not seem to make any difference. I then tried installing similar drivers from the EDP application and noticed no change. Can I achieve reliable scrolling and right click with the current software? How does the system respond to all the Kext I've been experimenting with? Thanks Neil
