I'll try this when my laptop is back from its repairs. Has anyone else found the touchpad is very glitchy with mac and windows. Dell are replacing it hope it helps me.

So far I have one issue that I have been struggling with for days now, I will be very grateful if 

someone can help me figure this out.

 

I have followed the guide exactly on my Inspiron 7437 installing Yoesemite, I made it much further than any other guide 

as I now have a working install. 

 

The problem is I cannot boot without a usb drive. For some reason my laptop wont see the clover EFI partition and if I boot

without the usb it will say "No boot manager found" (or something along those lines)

 

I have added the /EFI/Clover/Cloverx64.efi to a boot entry in bios but maybe I did not do so in the correct format, new to this 

stuff especially with UEFI. 

 

If anyone has had this issue or has any suggestions I will be very grateful!

Are you dual booting with windows? If so you need a copy of CLOVERX64.elf Elf/microsotf/boot then In EFI/Microsoft/Boot rename the file bootmgrfw.efi to bootmgfw-orig.efi and also In EFI / Microsoft / Boot rename the file CLOVERX64.EFI to bootmgfw.efi reboot it should sort it. Hope it help

Looks like you have Realtek ALC 283. See patched AppleHDA here.

Do i need to patch DSDT with this kext? i get no audio with just installing kext.

 

Also i am get 5G wifi but it keeps dropping connection? i have the bcm94352hmb I've used the Range patch 'find 015854 to 015858' but still get the same issue

Has anyone got the camera working on the dell 7537!? I would be very interested to know how one got it to work. I've tried fix ownership and camera control with no results all tho i didn't know how to use the program..

Yes for webcam - try enabling fix ownership with clover configeror/device/usb tick fix ownership. Camera still didn't work for me, but you could try.

I found this on another site. they say to enable fix ownership and should work.. itsmnot working for me but you could try Beckham. Let me know how if it works.

is audio working on HDMI? i get no sound via HDMI I'm using voodooHDA 2.8.5

As far as trackpad, make sure you have a appropriate drivers and settings in SysPrefs->Trackpad.

 

Yosemite issue:

HDMI out - FREEZE

WebCam - doesn't work (I think nobody get her ENABLE )

Also sometimes i hear some sound - maybe its work antipop ?

Which kext did you use to get HDMI audio working?

 

 

In System Report your WebCam has Serial number field ?

Heads up, I installed the 10.10.1 DP Beta and it hosed my audio!

 

Tried reinstalling AppleHDA.kext w/ Kext Wizard + reboot - to no avail

 

so just watch out everone...

Why don't you use voodoo ?

Installed Yosemite on my dell 7537 

Lost normal function Fn keyboard (Brightness adjust go crazy when i pressed F11 or F12) 

HDMI out - freeze

Trackpad - no tap, only click and double click

Camera doesn't work (so as in Mavericks)

 

P.S. how to remap keyboard ?

has anyone figured out how to show windows in clover? personally, i have to go to bios and switch to legacy boot mode in order to boot to windows... anyway to show windows on clover?

Try downloading the latest version of clover. Use clover configure it to set Windows and Mac boot loader

Are you made 3 -4 fingers gestures trackpad settings? Can you explain me  what to do? (Maybe i need additional kext for trackpad?)

 

P.S. About the cam, i have sonix web cam, searching but no results.

I've only got 2 fingers in trackpad but finding it very jumpy.

How to configure the touchpad gestures. I know that need to go sys pref-> keyboard. But i don't understand what to do next. Can you provide me?

I'm have issues with camera too.. Just get black screen..

Don't know if anyone esle has got this to work.?

Make sure you disable nvidia using boot flag: nv_disable=1. Also use dart=0 -v

 

Follow the guide step by step and dont try to rush it... If you find you get errors reboot and start again it helped me. At 1st boot install Clover Configurator with HVT and sort out the config.plist ( nv_disable=1 dart=0 ect ) then follow the guide that way you'll be able to reboot without ant errors

Have got everything working as it should backlight, power management, sound, touch screen and 5G even updates from 10.9 to 10.9.5 via App Store but I can't get the camera to work. Did anybody else find this and how did you go about resolving the issue?
