  1. Yep, I have done that.

The problem is how AptioFix is inserting the kernelcache into my memory map. Until Dmazar rewrites or patches it a kernelcache above ~20MBs results in a Clover fatal error on startup.

Right now this BT kext is a very considerable percentage of my total kernelcache.

  2. Thanks for this! I have it working with my X99 Deluxe.

However, due to an AptioFix/Clover problem the size of this kext is too large for me to use with Clover. Can you provide the source, or a stripped down version that only includes firmware for my model? It is BCM20702A0 (0x180a).

    Thanks!

  3. I see you mention there is support for the BCM20702A0 (0x180a) in the OP, but say it is in version 2.8 of this kext.

Do you have a link to v 2.8? Thanks!

Edit: 2.7 allows my BT to be seen, so perhaps that was just a typo in your OP? Thanks!

Edit #2: Also, this is contributing to an AptioFix memmap issue on my Clover install:

    1. Is it possible for me to pare the size of the BTFirmwareUploader down significantly by only including support for my particular chipset?

    2. Should I just load the kext after startup? (it appears to work if I kextload it)
