Thanks for that.  How about the error message!!!  Do I go ahead and prepare the hard drive for OS X?

I am new to this forum and I am trying to build a Hack with a D-830, Dual Core T8100, 4.00 GB Memory, NVIDIA Quadro NVS-135M.

During install, I can get to the screen to select which drive to install from, then I get to the Language Page, after a minute or so, I get a message stating The OS X installation couldn't be completed.  I tried to save the report but could not do so.  I noticed that if I "X" out of the page, I can get to "Utilities".  I'm confused whether or not to format the hard drive because of this message.

I am also confused about the Extra Folder.  Should I install that with "MyHack" when I am preparing the thumb drive or do I do that after the install is finished?
