I first installed Niresh's 10.9.0 distro in order to create my vanilla 10.9.5 myHack stick and the process went smoothly. However, when trying to boot from the USB stick, I get stuck at the following message:
After waiting long enough, it also says "Still waiting for root device". I am booting with the following flags:
-v npci=0x3000 USBBusFix=Yes GraphicsEnabler=No
I also tried booting with USBLegacyOff=Yes and Force_HPET=Yes, adding some kexts (TotallyFixStillWaiting.kext), trying different ports, but with no success. My BIOS settings are all correct (SATA mode set to AHCI, HPET enabled, USB legacy enabled). I would really like some help, as I've run out of ideas.
