..this is the same issue as the OP described here... which is why I didn't add the Clover files... this is a "what is different with these BIOS files" that's breaking the boot. OS X won't boot when BIOS updates from 1.08.01 to anything higher. Windows is fine... only OS X with the BIOS Update attempt.. I have to keep down-grading back to 1.08.01 I"m comparing these files and I see that I can add... change H_EC to EC which wasn't there before.

HP Probook 470 G5 ... I am fine with BIOS v1.08.01 ... anything above that freezes on boot. Attached are text file export of the 1.08.01 and 1.10.01 DSDT from CLOVER. I tried DiffMerge to see the difference... but it's all greek (geek) to me. Any help would be appreciated. DSDT_1.08_1.10.zip
