  1. Guys I'm greatful for all the help, but it's about time I call it quits. I've been at this for days and although I was so close I don't think I'd be able to get it working as expected. Again, thank you for your help. When I build my new desktop I will try this again.
  2. I forgot to mention I am using OSX 10.8 but the bootpack says it's for 10.7. I will look for the i386 in a few minutes. I'll post once I have that info.. Thanks
  3. I've also tried a base myHack install and clicking 'Use my own' for extras and installing the E6400 bootpack during installation and when it reboots it does the same thing on the boot loader. Not sure if this makes any difference but when I install vanilla OSX (no extras) it works fine and boots fine using the base myHack installer flash drive. Once I add extras to the flash drive and attempt to boot the OS partition is when I get these errors. When I reformat the flash drive with the base installation and use the flash drive bootloader again it boots up just fine. So I think it's something with the extras folder.
  4. Booted into myHack with the E6400 bootpack installed as an extra onto the USB. Loads everything just fine until it finishes loading the bootloaded then it asks me to select a device/volume to boot. I selected the myHack OS X Installer but it goes back to the bootloader selection screen.
  5. No. Im going to try now with the E6400 boot pack. Ugh sometimes I wish I had more flash drives.. :/
  6. Booted into myHack and immediately noticed the scaling of the Apple logo was exact. unifail stretched everything out. BUT I had a KP with myHack. It says there are 5 threads when there should only be 4. This is new..
  7. Yes on a vanilla install the internal display works fine but stuck at 1024x768. I apologize for the multifail thing. I am new to this forum, but I'd gladly take the myHack route (have a USB installed with it, but havent tried it yet). I did look at the link Bronxteck provided, but it's complete gibberish to me (I'm doing the best I can to learn lol).
  8. Yes you've been very helpful. My computer is a Dell Latitude E6430 laptop and I'm running Mountain Lion 10.8. I tried 10.8.2 but it forces me to disable virtualization in BIOS for it to boot at all so far I've had less issues with my retail copy of ML10.8. The error I get is the same no matter which method I use to activate the graphics. It says something about AppleCPUIntelPowerManagement. When I do a blank install of 10.8 I can boot with no issues. Once I install the No DSDT option from multifail I get the KP's about AppleCPUIntelPowerManagement. I tried the EasyBeast method in multifail and it boots but only works on HDMI and the image is completely distorted and the internal display on the notebook doesn't get an image.
  9. Where can I get the drivers for the HD4000? The chimera (chameleon, stolen and rebranded) guide says it supports the HD 4000 but I'd still need the drivers..
  10. Ok, I am now running the latest version of Chameleon. Booted with GraphicsEnabler=Yes and it booted fine but still same issue..
  11. My OS partition doesn't show up under devices. I have to go into the Disk Utility and click "Open OSX" (OSX is my OS partition name). When I do that I get the following screen:
  12. I see the hidden files but there is nothing in the OS partition named "boot". I searched the Chameleon package and found a file named boot in the i386 folder, but don't know where you want me to put it. I re-installed OSX and booted with GraphicsEnabler=Yes and it boots fine but still no support for the HD 4000.
  13. Ok I downloaded Chameleon 2.1 from that link and extracted it. How do I replace the boot file with it? Once I figure that out I'll post the verbose info with Graphics Enabler=Yes.
  14. I own a Dell E6430 and have been unable to find anything that would point me in the right direction to get the hardware working in it. The E6430 comes with Intel ® WiMAX Link 6250 wireless card which is currently unsupported the Mac/Hackintosh project. This model also has the Intel Graphics HD 4000 which many people have been able to get working fully, but I haven't been able to get it working. I've tried the myHack (base install), multifail/EasyBeast, multifail User DSDT/No DSDT option, and also the myHack General option. I tried downloading chimera (chameleon, stolen and rebranded) 1.11.1 which supports the HD 4000 and still had no luck. I've been at it for days now...reinstalled Ubuntu (unfortunately) until someone who knows what they are doing gets there hand on one of these. If anyone out there has any pointers it would be helpful.
