According debug mode of attached file in this guide, I discovered that Alps for Sony Vaio VPCSA4B4E/X is

ALPS Device ID : E7=0x73 0x03 0x50, EC=0x73 0x02 0x02.

 

A quick search on the net give a file that work.

Work very well !

After looking in detail, I found that, nothing more :

I am trying to use my trackpad with « two-fingers Â» gesture on Sony VAIO VPCSA4B4E/X.

Current special VoodooPS2Controller.kext work very well except gestures mode.

 

I installed « RehabMan-Voodoo-2014-0228-update Â» with all described restriction (I read all pages of this Guide).

 

Conclusion. It does not work well with this driver, Trackpad is not recognized, not seen by « Synaptics Trackpad Prefpane». which says « Supported trackpads not found Â». When I hit Ok, I have access to the trackpad configuration which crash after any change. In « System Preference Â» trackpad is detected as mouce with very low (X,Y) resolution.

 

Is there any good experience here with this laptop. I read there that trackpad is PNF0F13 or SNY9014 model (different of Sony Vaio SE) ? Not sure, Alps sure according Sony Vaio Support Windows driver.

 

I have dowloaded all RehabmanMerger and I will try all configurations.

 

I read « System.log Â» and I dont seen anything concerning Trackpad or PS2 device, even with the actual VoodooPS2controller.kext. How to use « synapticsconfigload Â» present in certain zip file.
