** Update- took the HDD out of the laptop and attached it to a iMac and copied the Appleintel power management kext on the hdd and bingo. It is up and running! Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction!

Jake, Thank you for responding. I am very much  outside of my element when dealing with a non windows machine. I did run the boot loader with the -v -f .

The issues seems to be in the AppleIntelCPUPowerManaement. How would I install the updated file when the computer will not boot, and I can not find the USB boot drive I had....

All-

I had my dell e5420 working fine and then iTunes updated and now i get a KP on boot. Is there any way to easily fix this, or do I need to start over and re-install? Help!
