  1. Thanks again. I managed to get Ventura up and running, and used OCLP to patch the graphics. I swapped out my intel wifi for a broadcom card like 6 /7 years ago so that's working pretty much out of the box fine.
  2. Thank you for the detailed reply @Hervé Is there a guide for OCLP anywhere? I have downloaded it but I find it confusing as to how to use it. For example, do I target the installer for the host system even though it's a Hackintosh already, or do I use the MacbookPro11,4 definition that my Hackintosh is using etc? Do I apply the patches before I install, or after?
  3. Thanks to @Jake Lo's excellent post below, I am able to run Monterey flawlessly on my E7440. I was wondering if anyone has managed to get Sonoma running on their machine? Thanks
  4. I had to enable Legacy boot options and this patch: was already in the config.plist. Now it seems to be working fine. I will run the installer and see what happens. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, @Hervé
  5. Hi everyone, I got a E7440 reently and wanted to install High Sierra on it. I've done it in the past on this website with an E7240 so I thought it would be straight forward on this laptop too. I've made the Clover and HS usb sticks. I've copied over HFSPlus.efi and APFS.efi to the drivers64 so Clover can see the HS installer usb. I am getting the following graphics glitch/error when booting into the installer: The installer is working as it then goes to the main installer menu so it's a graphics related bug. The cpu is a Core I5-4310U @ 2Ghz . I have not touched the config.plist from Jake Lo's E7440 clover pack so it's weird why this is happening.
