Yeah. Id dual boot though. ML would be just for the odd thing that I can only do in ML.

Awesome news! Im thrilled! Havent got my D430 yet but I will buy one soon. Cant wait to see this in action even if it means loosing a few apps! (Although, this remains to be seen haha! )

Sounds like this guy made some GMA 950 kexts for Mountain Lion with QE/CI! Do you think this might get QE/CI working on the Core 2 Duo D430?

Also: The C2D in the D430 is 64bit right?

If so (in theory) I should be able to run Lion in 64Bit right?

If not, will I be able to run finder in 32 bit mode?

Its such a shame that there isnt a sub 12-13 inch notebook that has GPU compatibility with OSX thats affordable

I really wanna get a D430 latitude. Its the perfect size (12') and it has a great cpu (c2d) so I would love to be able to run it on ML at one point. I know it will run but without QE/CI which is crucial for me. Do you think someday somone might make a 64 bit kext for the GMA 950? 

Also, does the D430 work on Lion with QE and CI?
