Admin Jake ,  i tried the kext it failed probing the card it did detect it found the exact name etc after it said probe failed all halted so it went further than before 

i was wondering could it be the install media i use which is 10.7.5 shall i try 10.7 only because i did manage to get this machine running in 10.6.8 perfectly down to sleep or other issues i saw people had i uploaded the kext pack i used along side myhack tool mix n match but i have tried every combination 

from -f -v or arch=i386 -v or cpus=1 -v or -x -v etc still wont let me enter installation

Herve , if i can get snow leopard installed on this laptop with video acceleration can you please show me what to do next so i can do the injection process please ? 

Herve i think that is the problem it halts upon around nvdan40hal ,,i still have the programs installed you told me to get can you log on my laptop whenever your ready to begin extraction of files required ? please

Dear Herve , the pack did manage to get me in to installation mode but there is severe lag the mouse or the entire machine is acting like it is on delay 

i am using the lion 10.7.0 installation media  

You Efforts is greatly appreciated i will try these shortly ill keep my fingers crossed , And herve your a good man for remotely helping this is a wonderful site with good admins

After trying both packs this is the message it shows on kernel panic ,, Hope this helps

Thanks again herve if it fails ill take snapshops of the kernel panic so maybe it could explain whats going on 

hi herve i tried the bootpack which caused a kernel panic on intelcpumonitor , the old pack which is for snow leopard allows the bootup of lion to setup but the pack you have created for me i dont know what can be  causing that as i checked in the extra folder that kext is not there

I am using the A07 version which is the latest available 

What your Suggest i do in regards to  extracted BIOS tables ? can i do so in windows ,  this is all i have managed to obtain after intensive research on this machine it contains dsdt patches etc but it is for snow leopard so i am not sure what use can be done

So for me to get his machine running i need to get a exact lspci output of the device id etc ? i can do anything required if you can help me make a boot pack to run 10.7.5 on this herve ,,, i will also try those boot packs you mentioned ,, 

if you can tell me what is the best app i can use on windows to extract the ideal info needed so you can help me build the kext pack please let me know so i may begin .

I Have been following this thread and glad to see that admin Hervé has given me hope in confirming i can install lion 10.7.5 on my dell xps m1710 cpu t7200 3gigs of ram fx 3500 m Gpu ,, I have search very hard for a kext pack for this machine If anyone has a kext pack for lion so i can use it on my laptop i would very much appreciate it 

Hervé if you know of a kext pack which works on this machine please could you guide me to where i can obtain it
