I've injected layout 3 in config.plist.

I use the files posted by @black.dragon74 (DSDT/SSDT) it seem that the nvidia GPU is correctly off at boot. Unfortunatly, i have some issues :

• Battery performance are poor
• The sound chipset are not initialized.

I think that i need to customize the DSDT and SSDT files, but i doesn't very know how to do that.

 

Do you think that it's possible for you to help me if i attach my CLOVER repository ?

Ok, I can get graphical installer now ! I perform the installation and i'd do a report about the patched DSDT for disable optimus GPU.

Ok. Now, the boot are stuck on "bluetooth family...": the graphic intall does not start... I can get OSX Utility with adding the -x bootflag.

Nope, because of the nvidia hybrid card, i finally installed Linux.

 

if your running into waiting for root device from usb installer then try different USB ports.

 

Yep, I have tested that: no success. However i had the same issue with Maverick that i'd solved. I'm unable to remember how I had done.

Try using flags: cpus=1 npci=x2000 -v you may also try adding safe boot arg: -x in case those don't work. Meanwhile, lemme have a look at your ACPI files.

Long time ago I installed (Maverick) but today with El Cabitan installer i stuck on "still waiting for root device". Probably I'd used a boot parameter i've forgoted today.

Thanks to the community that allowed me to install OSX on two laptop dell (E6420 and E6220).
 

I have a vostro 3300 with a nvidia hybrid graphics card (310M). It is not possible to disable it in the bios.
 

Is there a possibility to disable it via DSDT?
