JawhnL5
Hello, So recently we have gotten some feedback from users referring to the VoodooHDA.kext and how they do not prefer it. We have been looking for a solution for this for a very long time as we ourselves do not enjoy VoodooHDA.kext either, for many reasons... So with that, we would like to announce a BIG change coming to EDP 3.x... We have recently been doing tests on an AppleHDA.kext for STAC9200 and STAC9205. Pretty much all if not all of the D-series have these sound cards, and we have gotten some pretty great results. (No sound delays, great mic support, and no kernel panics!). We are planning on integrating this into EDP 3.x as soon as possible, and we would like to thank everybody for their support and feedback. As always, if you have any questions or comments be sure to post it in the feedback section. Cheers, OSXLatitude Crew In short, here's what we are doing: Giving users of EDP an option to use either VoodooHDA or AppleHDA for audio. Making the recommended build have AppleHDA for audio. JawhnL5
Hmm that is very weird. Confirm you are using EDP 344, and if you are update it again. Make a build again and select STAC9200 AppleHDA, and then confirm HDAEnabler is in the /Extra/Extensions folder.
MM~KELLY
I just do these steps. First, I update EDP to 433, and make a new build use edp tools with default option, And i am sure that HDAEnabler is in the /Extra/Extensions folder.
