tommy1979
Hi guys I am using the latest opencore EFI on the install guide for the HP EliteBook 840 G3 however when I boot into windows the battery isnt detected, everything works perfectly in the big sur installation including the battery. I assume it is something to do with the ACPI battery patch. Any suggestions on how to resove this? I seen somewhere else that you can remove the battery patch and use ECEnabler.kext however I am unsure on the correct steps. Any help much appreciated. Thanks in advance! zappy39
Hi Have you tried ECEnabler.kext remove all battery patches and ssdt-battery.aml
tommy1979
There is no ssdt-battery.aml , there is an ssdt-840g3.aml file which I think patches the battery among other things. Mac doesn't work when I remove it though.
