hansi Posted July 22, 2022 Share Posted July 22, 2022 So recently I decided to migrate my old hackintosh installation from Clover (which is a hot mess) to OpenCore, thinking that I would waste a whole week fixing things up I also updated to Big Sur and things went quite well. My E5540 has Intel Core i7 4600u Intel HD 4400 / Nvidia GT720m (disabled) Realtek ALC292 Intel Wifi/BT ---Working--- Graphics Acceleration Brightness Control Touchpad/Keyboard (w/gestures) DualBoot W11 Audio HDMI Wifi (Heliport)/BT Battery Management Camera Apple Services ---Not Working--- Sleep (I already disabled hibernation and mapped USB ports, don't really know what else to do) The headphone audio was screwed up with distortion noise, i ended up fixing it with Codeccommander and ALC_fix from this other post The EFI folder is larger than the size allowed by the site, so if you have this relic of a laptop, and you want to test your luck I'll leave a link to the Google Drive folder containing it. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/11ekszPurjTVTb8myid8OIhNQR_rg2Ch4?usp=sharing Thanks!
