MaximusTG
Hi, I'm MaximusTG (not my real name ), I'm from the city of Enschede, in the Netherlands. I always liked the look and feel of Apple's OS, but the cost of an Apple computer was always way to high for me. I've had an on and off relationship with hackintoshes since the release of the first osx86 vmware image (deadmoo iirc). Since then I've enjoyed toying and tinkering with the various methods of installation. I've always been fascinated with the ability to run a version that is as vanilla as possible. About 3/4 of a year ago I installed a new harddrive and installed Snow Leopard on that drive using a usb installer I created from a VM Leopard on my Ubuntu installation, using myHack. This worked fine, but the install seemed to suffer from the bad habit of occasionaly crashing during boot. Since I couldn't figure out what was wrong I returned to good ol' Ubuntu. But with the recent Lion release, things have begun to stir again . I've been a computer enthusiast since I was a little kid, not the genius-level hacker though. But I do have the ability of very quickly getting myself up to speed in a technical subject, such as hackintoshes. An evening of googling and browsing around and I will know what sites to look at and what tools to use. Experience with OSes: MS-DOS, Windows 3.1, Windows 95,98,ME,2000,XP, Vista,7, mobile, Android, Ubuntu,Debian, Red Hat (Fedora), Gentoo. I'm not much of a programmer, most programming work I've doen are in the MATLAB M-code. And TI-BASIC .
